Went today, St Patrick’s Day, my brother and his wife, myself and my husband and our elderly parents. It was not busy at all, there were 6 of us and they wanted to sit us in a separate room that looked like a banquet venue, alone in this huge room! When we asked if we could sit in the restaurant, we were told they were only sitting parties of 5 or less in the restaurant?? But it was half empty?? So you would rather wait for smaller parties than seat the party of 6 in front of you? We said if we can’t sit in the restaurant we likely won’t stay and the rude young man said, ok, shrugged and sarcastically said, have a nice day! WOW! We live in the area, you lost our business forever & anyone who asks us about this place! So unnecessary!

Very crowded as to be expected on St. Patrick's Day. Very crowded. Too far away from the music to hear the band. Should have been piped throughout the restaurant. Plenty of corned beef and cabbage.

Fricken awesome pub food! We tried the poutine made from house cut chips, an infused burger, and French onion soup and it was all just so dang good. They also do really fun trivia nights where you can have some grub with your friends and win some cool swag. If you are visiting Wells, definitely do not sleep on this place.Vegetarian options: Multiple meat-free options, including a ridiculously delicious French onion soup

Stopped in for supper on a Monday evening. We were drawn to this establishment due to its name and Irish connection. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed by the food and atmosphere. We had just spent two months in Halifax, Nova Scotia (preceded by two weeks in Ireland), and after dining/drinking at countless, authentic Irish pubs, this place, in no way, shape or form, lives up to its 'Irish' claims. Aesthetic-wise, the only thing Irish about this place comes from the countless paper shamrocks that adorn the wall (several are inscribed with vulgar comments) and a poster or two of Guinness Beer. In essence, this is simply a sports bar with an Irish name. We each ordered the Shepherds Pie. We found the meat to be overcooked and under-seasoned. There were hardly any peas/carrots inside and when we came upon them, they too were undercooked. We also found our pies to be watery which made the dough soggy and chewy. Service was spotty as it took a while to get our drinks and drink orders refilled. To be fair, our server, who was friendly and welcoming, indicated they were short staffed and working extra long hours.

Myself and my wife went to Feile’s on Friday Sept. 22, 2023. We have been going to Feile’s for years and have always had a great time with great food. However, on this past Friday night we had the worst dining experience we have ever had in our lives. Our waitress, Erin G, had to be the worst waitress I have ever had serve me. After we had our meals, I wanted to order another beer. I tried to get her attention and finally did. I ordered the beer and waited and waited. I finally got her attention again and she comes to the table with the beer and said she forgot. My wife then asked for a glass of water. I drank my beer and then tried to order another one. My wife still never got her water. Again, trying to get her attention she finally comes. She takes my order and my wife again orders a glass of water. After another wait she finally brings the beer and water. This went on all evening. We were very courteous throughout this ordeal and thanked her each time she served us. I do not know if we did something or said something wrong to annoy her but her behaviour was inexcusable. In spite of that I still gave her a tip. I don’t know why! We come to Wells every year and always go to your pub. We still will. My email address is: [email protected] should you want to contact me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Feile is a true gem! I can't praise this Irish restaurant and bar enough. The beer selection is top-notch, offering a delightful variety of Irish and craft beers. Their pub food is exceptional, with mouthwatering classics like fish and chips, hearty stews, and savory pies. The warm and inviting ambiance makes Feile the perfect place to unwind with friends or enjoy a cozy date night. Five stars all the way! Sláinte! ???

I served 30 years in the US military to support the constitution of the USA. However I was asked to leave by the server and manager because my personal conversation with my family was counter to our server's opinion. She interjected her opinion, then came back and said political discussion was not allowed at the bar. When we asked for the written policy, she said she'd write it down for us and the manager said it's the policy and would not provide it in writing either. I guess private conversations are monitored now by the bar police. So much for freedom of speech at this Irish bar.
