CRISP! ?Upon finding this SWEET Pizza Place during my first snow storm in 2024 here, I looked up the menu on Google only to find these AWFUL reviews and I immediately decided to look elsewhere for dinner, HOWEVER upon sitting in the parking lot and debating where else I could eat…I decided to GIVE IT A CHANCE!Dennis welcomed with me a WARM and CONFIDENT welcome upon entering his pizza place, he gave me a beautiful back story about his pizza place and helped me make a decision on my pizza toppings!!THE RESTAURANT:The shop is MUCH bigger than it seems from the outside. It has maybe 8-10 BOOTHS for you and your family/friends to enjoy your meal inside! Along with almost every flavor of Soda on TAP or bottled in the FRIDGE. Paired with shelves and shelves of Frito-Lay and local chips from Maine this place has it ALL!I then waited 10-15 minutes for my pizza to be ready and this is what it looked like 25 minutes later when I got home!!HOW WAS IT?!The SAUCE has a SLIGHTLY sweet and TANGY flavor..paired with a beautiful CRISP CRUNCH on the base of this pizza, it truly compliments the GOOEY mozzarella cheese that’s been baked to a perfect consistency. Slight chew to the dough, but it’s flaky at the same time and melts away in your mouth! BEAUTIFUL PIZZA!ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, FRESH MEATBALL AND KILLER CRUST!! BIG FAN OF THIS STYLE OF PIZZA!! The owner really lacks customer service skills and should give some real thought to hiring someone for front of the house. It really ruins the experience when greeted with so much attitude. Eye rolling, huffing and condescending statements are very common when you interact with him. I’ve been there multiple times over the years so this wasn’t a one off experience. Food choices are limited in the Wells area off season and the food is actually pretty descent there. So I’d recommend just ordering online if you really want to order from there. We drove down from Biddeford to get food from there. We probably won’t be coming back this point since this is an established pattern of our visits there.

Food was very good. Gluten free pizza is available, but in limited quantities. Man who answered the phone was borderline rude. He was pleasant in person though. Prices were higher than average.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza crust is available for $3 more.
Up for the night visiting the area. Ordered from here for ease of pickup and enjoying hotel amenities. First off the customer service on the phone left much to be desired. I placed a simple order of a large cheese and a small French fry. I was told 15 minutes and click the call hangs up. We pick up within that window maybe 5 minutes Over the quoted time. The sole gentleman working states that the order just came out $22.95 down the toilet. Pizza was the most inedible cheese pizza ever. Dough was not a fresh dough but one pre made and pulled from the freezer earlier this month...beyond dry. Sauce and cheese tasted rancid... The French fries were crinkle cut and served in an brown paper bag. Visible grease absorbed by the brown bag that contained them yet the fries tasted old and dry as ever probably on the last leg of a fourth reheat. Dominoes to the rescue. I wouldn't feed pets what we were served tonight

Came in on tuesday around 12 so it was pretty quiet and I got my order pretty quick! Service was friendly. I got a steak grinder and asked for all the fixings. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. I'll be back to try the pizzas, as everything is pretty affordable.

Bad service, bad ambiance, all bad. Place was completely empty. Never going back. Echo the sentiment of most ppl that have been here, the owner, who is the old man has the worst attitude. His brother was helping and is not any better. Skip this place. Pizza is bad too.

We usually stop by Hometown Pizza on our visits to Wells. We were promptly greeted by the owner. He took our order and joked with us a bit. The food was ready in a short amount of time. The food was very tasty although I would have liked a little more meat on my roast beef sub or grinder as it's called in New England. I wouldn't write this place off.
