I ordered cookies for my son who lives in Maine for his birthday- they were delivered and were wonderful so I thought I would do it again for Christmas. Well I placed the order in early November with a requested delivery date near Christmas. He has never received any cookies and I have not had any answers to my phone calls or e-mails. I won't use this service again.

Unlike others I am very disappointed by my experience with Cookies Direct. In early December I placed an order for my brother, who would be in his NYC apartment alone on Christmas. I received a confirming email and my card was charged. The cookies did not arrive. I finally got through to Darby and she said that she was not shipping that late but could not explain why i was charged and why I was not notified that the order was not happening. She finally shipped the cookies and they arrived Monday but my brother says they are very hard and not good. I never received an apology and will never use this business again.

Debbie and her crew decided to work on the holiday (!!!), then she called me (an international telephone call) to tell me she found a cost effective way to have the cookies delivered as requested. The attention to detail, kindness and concern makes this a small business worth supporting again and again. I am so in awe of the level of service.
