Growing up in Maine, Gifford's used to be my favorite ice cream--especially the moose tracks! However, the ice cream was hard and not very creamy. They still had the classic moose tracks, plus a German chocolate cake special, but the ice cream tasted like something I would buy at the grocery store rather than the homemade ice cream I remembered. Sadly, I probably will find a different ice cream spot to frequent (unless I want one of their blizzard options--I imagine that would be good since it's mixed and will give it the creaminess that's missing from the ice cream itself).

Stopped in for some dessert after lunch, 4 adults and 1 child. No one went crazy and we all stayed with a single scoop/cone/shake and we still rolled out $28 lighter. Was it good ice cream? Yes it was, but at $5+ a person just not worth it.

We visited this Yarmouth location on a Wed night, because they had live entertainment. They also had lots of TV’s on different sporting events (sound off). We enjoyed the singing duo very much. The restaurant itself is packed with Boston/New England sports memorabilia on the walls. They also have tables set fairly close together. I think they might be a little bit short staffed, because it took several minutes to get our drink orders taken, and later our food orders taken. But, the servers were hustling to try to get all of the customers helped. For 2 people, we ordered a soda ($3), a beer ($6 draft) and a small pizza ($12). The pizza actually came out fairly quickly, considering how busy they were. I would say we were in and out in about an hour or less. Pizza was good, and so was the entertainment. Mostly a sports bar atmosphere.

Mediocre at best and that's being generous. Honestly was not a fan in the slightest. Ice cream was super soft like soft serve rather than some good ice cream and I got a quart of the pretzel celtics one and dug through it for the pretzels and there was literally only 8 little chocolate covered pretzels in the whole quart. It was pathetic. Will not be wasting my money on this again. Figured it was like gourmet ice cream kind of like Ben and Jerry's. Nothing close and a disappointment to ice cream. Was trying to shop local vs the big brands but was only disappointed.
