Hands down the best restaurant in the Ogunquit, York Cape Neddick, York area. I have had the Seafood Scampi and the Chicken Piccata. Both were completely delicious. Reasonable proces. The side salad is unbelievable. Homemade pasta. The chef is truly a chef. Huge portions. Highly recommend

This is the best restaurant in York. Please don't tell anyone because they are already very busy during the summer. So make a reservation. Casual atmosphere, fabulous food. Entrée includes soup or salad and portions are generous. Very generous. We enjoy taking home the leftovers for lunch the next day. It's refreshing to have fine food but not leave hungry. We honestly love everything on the menu. The Pork Delmonico is my favorite and the best I have ever had. They also offer vegan food. And they have accommodated one of my guests with gluten free. Check it out - Tell them Peggy sent you.

OUTSTANDING- Hospitality was amazing in every way, and the food was top quality!! Every single person in our party was raving about it. I cannot say enough about this place - in fact I'll be adding more to my review later about how excellent this place actually is! Thank you Frankie & Johnys!

We had a terrible experience here the other night, the food was meh, we had a drink come that had an ant floating in it. The owner came over and did not apologize or take it off the bill, she said "we have ants crawling all over our trays" as if justifying it would make it better.

Eclectic, cozy little place located just as you head into Ogunquit downtown. Reservations are advised, as it was very busy. Customers were definitely having a fun time. It was a loud and festive atmosphere. The service team were working their tails off, hustling. Their specialty cocktails were creative and tasty. As for the food, it was evident that everything was scratch-made. This was mostly a positive for us, but not with all items. The bread was chewy & fresh. The Caesar came with my entree. A little odd that it had kale and spinach in it, not traditional. The chowder was a little watery and not memorable. The haddock entrees were both mediocre flavor-wise, but huge portions. The haddock both had to be 16oz. portions each and fresh. Potatoes were thin, bland and the haddock lacked flavor and seasoning. The hand-made pasta was dense & ate heavy. For entrees hovering $40 to $50 dollars, one would expect a little more finesse and attention to detail on the flavor. That being said, we have a lot of friends who love this place and we can see why. There are still many positives. Our experience was that the large-sized portions possibly masked the intended flavor. It wasn’t a home run for us. We did have fun though. No slight on the staff and the business, as they all were working hard and have a great reputation locally. I would recommend that people try this establishment. You might find it as a perfect fit.

Having dined here a few years ago (due to distance, Covid etc) , still food is unique, delicious and plentiful. Our server, Alex, was very informative, pleasant and watchful. Each course of our meal was different, tasty and a lot of food. Great day, enjoyed a Great show at the Ogunquit Playhouse, then ... a Scrumptious dinner at Frankie & Johnny's. We arrived early, before opening and as we were waiting in our car, Thea was waving, trying to tell us to come in .

I have been here at least a handful of times and without a doubt the food here is top notch. I can't say I've eaten anywhere better than this! The chef is wonderful and his wife that serves you are top notch! You just can't be Disappointed!

Unbelievable food and experience. Stopped in before a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse with friends. What a treat! Staff and owner were so friendly and efficient. The decor is quaint and casual. Food is AMAZING! Well crafted and thought out ingredients. Lots of flavor. Great variety. We started with the goat cheese appetizer, we had the bisque soup and Cesar salad. All of us chose pasta dishes. Homemade pasta that was not gummy/chewy/overcooked. Very accommodating to dietary requests. Food was cooked fresh with lots of fresh ingredients. Can't wait to come back again when we come to Maine.

Unbelievable portion size!! Our friends who are part time locals go here regularly and told us we needed to split something. We got the Haddock Piccata and what you see in the picture IS THE SPLIT Portion!! Excellent taste with the right amount of Capers and Artichoke! We split an order of Lobster Purses, think their version crab wontons. Score another point for the expresso martinis, a favorite of mine, and this one was well done.
