I haven't had a full 5 star experience at a place in a while. This is a restaurant but honestly it felt like so much more than a simple place to sit and be served food. John and Susan, the owners, were great to chat with. The space was decorated with a great vibe. The food was absolutely spectacular with unexpected flavors that were delicious. It's not cheap but it's a great value in my opinion. Highly recommend.

No one to greet us in had to sit at the bar presentation of food less than appealing scallops undercooked vegetables burned and lumpy mashed potatoes and cold the wait staff didn’t even ask as to why or if the scallop plate was barely consumed .. we were weekend tourists not locals and not satisfied at all and it was not worth the price . Totally disappointed and definitely not recommendable .

Our first time here, the place has a nice atmosphere. Feels cozy in a small environment. Service was friendly and funny. The food tasted nice. The only small issue i had was the food portion for meatballs starter, which was $9 for two meaballs and 4 pieces of garlic bread. The sauce was delicious. I just wished the portion was a bit more. The dinner was tasty. I would order the seabass again.

Ordered the chorizo kale soup, clams & sea scallops; all sourced locally. The food was delicious & fresh tasting, not fussy or overly sauced/seasoned. The place was quiet & service was prompt. This meal definitely hit the spot after a chilly day on the road.

Very interesting menu and dishes are excellent. Appetizers were great, really enjoyed the double baked potato and haddock cake. Good drink menu with the Sundrop martini being one of the best we’ve had. Will definitely be going back soon

What a great little restaurant! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. But what's on the plate is the real star! We started with the potato leek soup and the chowder. Both were really delicious! Then I had the grilled sea bass with miso glaze, brown basmati rice and grilled vegetables. My wife had the Salisbury Steak and mashed potatoes. Both were delicious and tasted home made. The kitchen puts a lot of love into their food. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We booked The Sundrop for our rehearsal dinner 11/11/23. John and his staff were fantastic to work with from the moment we booked! The food was excellent, the drinks were perfectly crafted the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. My guests really enjoyed the night start to finish. I will be a regular customer for sure and I cannot recommend this place enough for an event such as my rehearsal dinner or just a quiet dinner- you will not be disappointed!!

Food - 4Service - 4Value - 5After a long day of sightseeing and driving, we stopped by here for dinner on our way from Portland to Boston. We had the Grilled Bass, Grilled Scallops and their Leek and Potato Soup. The soup really hit the spot as it was a chilly night and the seafood was cooked just right and tasted fresh. It also wasn't very crowded at all and the restrooms were well kept.

Wonderful one-of-a-kind restaurant where you can hold a conversation and not be deafened by the music or another party.. We love seafood and were so happy to find fresh dishes with lots of flavor. Most importantly, they were not deep fried. Other places nearby serve fish and other seafood - almost always fried. I should have thought to photo my meal which was very attractive - well, next time!

This place is great! Delicious food, great beer selection, and excellent service. It's in the location that used to house Rick's (for those who are familiar with York Village). They have live music on a regular basis and a menu that features seafood as well as a number of delicious "comfort" food choices. The prices are very reasonable too.

This place is in the location where the well known breakfast spot, Rick's, used to be. Great food, great beer selection, great service, and great menu! Doesn't get any better than that! They are open for lunch and supper most days and frequently have live music as well. Check them out!

Great restaurant that you could easily miss. Hidden at the bottom of a building next to a Cumberland Farms. You won't regret coming here. Excellent menu, very reasonable prices for the area, and don't have to deal with the heavy summer crowds that make dining out in the surrounding region a pain during tourist season. Interesting, eclectic menu. Everything is very well prepared, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
