Food, average at best. As many other people have commented as well, the manager of this place is a disgrace. Extremely rude person. Would not recommend.

We had dinner at Woody’s with our family (7 of us). We ordered 3 large pizzas, there was some left over because they are very large. The pizzas were very good as well as the service.

Being a native of the new haven CT area I have a profound opinion of what pizza should be. This establishment has very good pizza.... like 8.5/10 and I haven't found a 10 yet! The staff was friendly as we literally walked in the door upon thier opening for the day. We walked around the shops on the street waiting for the pizza, brought it back to the hotel and can honestly say it was not a disappointment! If you're looking for a good pizza I cannot stress enough how good this place is and they have many unique toppings on thier specials. The inside seemed clean and roomy although at 11 am I cannot comment on the atmosphere. Pizza was fantastic will come again! Also Square pepperoni was cool ??

We enjoyed our large mushroom and sausage pizza last weekend. The ingredients were fresh and I liked their crust. We called in our order and it was ready right when they said it would be, so no wait. Their service was friendly and with a smile.

Delicious hot homemade pizza. Great menu. It’s a York must visit.

We had an 18" Brixham Range and it was the most flavorful pizza we've had in quite a while. It has ground beef, bacon, pepperoni, sweet sausage, hot sausage and black forest ham. It goes down easy and makes for a spectacular brunch pizza. No char and no indigestion from it.Parking: Hard to find parking, easier just to walk to.

Food was great. Service was excellent. My wife and I came in last night not realizing they were about to close. But they invited us in, we had a couple of beers and a pepperoni pizza, everything was excellent. Don't listen to other reviewer's complaints. Things like "no substitutions" and "no strollers" are very clearly posted on the menu and on the door, and every staff member we interacted with was extremely nice. Seems like a lot of entitled, whiny people like to complain about this place, so I wanted to make sure we gave it an honest review. Eat here. It's nice.

The food was not bad, prices are aligned with typical beach area prices, and the staff was very friendly. BUT... The RIDICULOUS menu ideology. For food that is made to order fresh - you cannot customize anything that isn't a "build your own". They have specialty items like a Southside pizza that comes with many ingredients. Asked them to remove the black olives, answer was no. Yes they have the Build-Your-Own option but when trying to build your own like what's on the menu but with less options it actually costs more. Also, ordered a BLT and asked them to add cheese, answer again was no. Definitely won't go back to a place where you can't customize your meal.

Do not recommend this place. Staff is rude. Thought to stop in since on the area and wanted something quick and was immediately turned off.

Going into this place to eat and saw u had to order a full pizza to sit on a crowded Saturday. I did that although, at the time, their were tables reserved with noone there. We came back to get our pizza and there was an open table. We started to eat.A few minutes later we were asked to LEAVE because we ordered take out. I NEVER said take out!! So, becayse my pizza was in a bix instead of on a pan, i couldnt eat there. MIND YOU , they had space for us to eat.The pizza was good, but how rude they treated us after taking our money. PERHAPS IF U DONT WANT TO SERVE PEOPLE U SHOULDNT OWN A RESTURANT!!!!!!!

The pizza here is great, but the staff is completely useless. I visit York every summer and consistently get flak from the Woody's staff members every year. This year was especially unpleasant. My family was waiting in line to gain access to the restaurant and was told that we could not sit in the completely empty dining room due to lack of wait staff (6 people working behind the counter). When I asked if I could just buy pizza at the desk and sit, I was told that pizza at the counter is takeout only. Additionally, I was told to go outside and wait for the hostess to put me on the wait-list after I had come in and waited 10 minutes to understand the strict environment that is Woody's. Consider going elsewhere to maintain a happy York beach experience.

The pizza is great. The staff.....probably the worst I've experienced in quite some time. Rude, condescending and combative. We stopped in for pizza.... They said "just to let you know, we only have one server", so it will take a long time for anything. Obviously the owner is not around because there is NO WAY an owner would be shutting down business. We asked if we could buy the whole pizza (there were 6 sitting there for slices), and just take it into the other dining room. No problem paying a premium. Couldn't do that......and told to step outside to see the hostess....when we arrived that hostess station did not have an attendant. This is the not first time the staff has been beyond rude....I've given them multiple chances. Never again. I'll go to the Beach Bucket, they do their best -regardless of the circumstances.
