“They have excellent pizzas, and it’s the perfect place for those avoiding gluten; there are three gluten-free crusts available. We like the broccoli cheddar version. Prices are very reasonable. Two minor drawbacks: toppings are pretty small portions, and there is a surcharge for using a credit card.Dietary restrictions: Several gluten-free crusts.”
“Love this place a nice place to go to and hang out and have a good bite to eat and drink and mostly I'm a big fan of karaoke the lady behind that is awesome Jo Jo and all the people working at the bar are nice as can ”
“Very friendly bar with a home town feel. The owner is present and very personable. They Have the BEST onion rings EVER! Servers are great and personable. Love the cheese platter with the hot mustard!”
“Worked here for a minute. It's a pretty clean place and food is fresh. Id say the only negative that can be said is customer service. The older ladies there can be quite negative to people. One will bluntly be rude to people and the other had made a man wait between 40-60 minutes for a sandwich because the machine was down. The man wanted to leave but she told him he cannot. After calling the owner the situation was sorted out making the man still pay for his sub even though it was an issue on our end. He pointed at me before going to his vehicle of wife and kids saying make sure people hear about this. So here I am.”
“The young people working here did a fabulous job on my sub and renewed my faith in the Subway brand. It was absolutely delicious and worth my money. Will make sure to stop in next time Im in the area. Thank you.”
“It's hard to say there's a better pizza place. The staff are always extremely helpful, fun, and can do an excellent job in the kitchen. I've literally never had anything but ASTOUNDING things to say about the quality of the food here. That and the prices are out of this world, if your not sold on it just remember, two pizzas for less!”
“Excellent coffee shop! Cozy, warm, and inviting. Delicious coffee, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches. Lots of comfy seating areas. And some neat toys for kids! A++!”
“First time eating here but have driven by and they are always packed. There wernt very many cars there today so I figured I would try it out....The food was good and a large portion I always get fajitas when I eat Mexican food and for $19.99 they come with shrimp chicken and steak at this place.Unfortunately there wifi was down so I couldn't watch any March madness games but that is not there fault. Was kinda weird the margaritas are served in a pint glass and cost $10”
“Great staff and owners. Love their wines, sandwiches and alternative drinks! Especially love to go out there during the summers when they have bands on their fabulous patio with big tables and dancing area!”
“Found right outside the small town of Hudson, Michigan; Azteca Mexican Restaurant is your typical Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu.It was typical but typical done well.”
“From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcomed. We were here today for the first time and Jenny A was our server. She was so kind, sweet, helpful and had a good sense of humor and was just overall an amazing person to have (wish I could have had dinner with her as well lol)The food was delicious! Tried the battered cod dinner (havent had fried fish in years)? ( and im sorry i couldnt finish it all )My husband had the seared Ahi Tuna and the California roll. The virgin pineapple margarita? was delicious too, just too stuffed to make it down the hatch.Thank you for giving me and my husband a wonderful dinner.”
“Where to start with this little place. The hometown diner atmosphere, the smiling face when you walk in the door, the friendly service and absolutely great home cooked style meals? This little place is simply overall amazing. A very hard working Family owned diner. Once again the food is like I'd prepare for my own family (I've been a Chef for 40 yrs) and just like my table you better come with an appetite! You get all that you pay for and then some and in today's economy that's really saying something. I highly recommend stopping in this place and giving them the support they deserve if you're in their neck of the woods.BTW my wife had Southwest Hash with Cinnamon Raisin Toast and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a couple of over medium eggs on top. Delicious!! And don't mind all the hot sauce we like our food spicy!”
“Poppa's Place is a must have for us when we are home in Michigan. The servers there Kim and Carrie are like family and always love seeing them when we stop in. The food is always delicious and we tend to be creatures of habit and stick to our usuals. I always get the western omelette and hash browns with coney sauce. Yes, it may look and even sound questionable but it is soooo good. The hubs got the country scramble and enjoyed it as always. My mom got the short stack of blueberry pancakes and basted eggs. She said that the pancakes were some of the best she has had in a restaurant in a long time. The food and service here have always been excellent and wish we could pick up and move them down to the beach. lol”
“In town for a football game on a Saturday morning. Needed a refill on my coffee. Chose this local spot over the big name drive thru's and glad I did! Nice, cozy coffee shop with all the good morning smells. Was greeted by the owners. I got a large dark roast that was absolutely delicious with nothing added! If you're swinging thru this quaint little town and need a little pickme up, swing into this gem of a downtown coffee shop!”
“Every time we are in Brooklyn we always stop in for a breakfast burrito and an iced mocha. We love this coffee shop and their coffee and burritos are delicious! Always friendly staff and reasonable pricing”
“Friday fish dinner, three ways to have your fish and a salad barParking: Good size lot to parkKid-friendliness: Good family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Concrete sidewalk”
“Love this Place the Walleye and Perch are So Good. It's a little gem of a restaurant out in our rural area!❤️Parking: Parking is available on both sides of RestaurantKid-friendliness: It is a restaurant/bar but still very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Large Covered ramp leading into the restaurant with handicap parking right near the start of it.”
“Food was good, would've been better if it was hot. My fries and sandwich were cold and so were the pancakes and hash browns. They were busy and only 1 girl running her butt off so I will definitely be back because the food was good. They were just having an off day. Small place so it fills up fast. They also have a small wrap around bar area with seating.”
“Food is fine. Jami and Karen are friendly, but usually understaffed and overworked. (Unfortunately the new norm for a lot of places after covid.) Your typical bar food and atmosphere.”
“Great people! Wonderful atmosphere and still my son's favorite ice cream ever! We love having this cute little hangout at the lake for friends and family for coffee, food and ice cream!!”
“It's always wonderful to find a great place to comfortably share a meal and socialize. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Everyone loved the cheese curds. I had Sarge's Catch and the perch was perfectly lightly breaded. I traded the fries for sweet potato fries and they were amazing. Never before have I had SPF with the skins on and they were delicious. The rest of our party ordered burgers and enjoyed them with "healthy portions" of fries or house made chips (YUM!) Will definitely be back ?”
“One of our favorite places to go. My favorite is the bacon BBQ burger. Pretty messy but delicious.Kid-friendliness: Most of the time we come they always bring the kids food first which I greatly appreciate as a parent!”
“We love taking a drive to the lake for ice cream on a hot summer day. Ice cream is always good and they're very generous with it as well. The owner makes home made ice cream sandwiches that we like as well. Sometimes we take the dog and she loves this place as well!! Support local business! This guy busts his butt and does such A WONDERFUL JOB!!”
“Love the food! Prices are good! The pizza maker took our order, cooked it, and served it to us! ( 6-24-23)I hope "he" got the $10.00 tip we left for him! Can't wait to go back!”
“Becky has done wonders with the restaurant. Fresh paint on the walls, a TV in the dining room, added tables. Kudos to you Becky, its coming tight along. Love your chicken salad croissant is to die for.”
“This is an excellent place for getting your healthy vibes in! Great smoothies! Great atmosphere, and really enjoy the people working there! ?Parking: Great parking area with plenty of spots.”
“This place has the best pizza I have ever eaten. I have moved from the area and no longer have easy access to it, but I will literally drive an hour if I am in the mood for pizza because it’s the best here!”
“Best hot and sour soup I've ever had - loaded with mushrooms and other veggies. The shrimp egg fu yong is great too. Love getting take out from here whenever we're in town.”

“Visited during A Taste Of The Irish. Had enjoyed mini versions of their treats and picked up some coffee, candles, and a small bit of ice cream. The flavors were unique and pleasant. Specifically, the frosting was fluffy, mellow, and fruity. As one might expect, the ice cream oh so very creamy and packed with goodies! I am satisfied with the aroma of the candles (buring warm cinnamon roll as I type). It's a soft scented cinnamnon, noticeable across the foyer. Their coffee is very smooth and enjoyable! Just beware it is whole bean. Their guest area has a variety of couches and chairs to make a homely impression. There is also a separate cubby to lay back in if not occupied. Books are provided if you find yourself finished with your snacks but don't quite have the urge to leave. Would recommend for a visit to see how it suits your own tastes.”
