“Excellent family breakfast cafe. We arrived with over 30 people and the staff was incredibly kind, hospitable, and welcoming to our entire crowd (which also had 15 kids under 10!) The portions and quality of food were phenomenal leaving everyone with a fantastic experience despite the chaotic environment our crowd generated. The staff were awesome and would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Boyne, IR, or Petoskey areas.“

“We were spending two nights in Topinabee with a trip to Mackinac Island planned. Before we headed for the island, we needed some breakfast and stopped at Cafe Noka. It was delightful. It's small, maybe 7-8 tables and a short counter (in length) with seating, but the folks working there are great and the food will leave you full for hours. For instance, we were mulling our orders and noticed the pancakes. There were size offerings: full stack (3), short stack (2), no stack (1). We were told NOT to order the FULL stack because it was too much. Our server was right. I had the short stack and it was plenty! Everyone enjoyed the food and we decided to stop again on our way back down state. Again, it was well worth the time!“

“I love what the new owners of the Wigwam have done. The entire place doesn't smell like the kitchen anymore. Great friendly service always and the food and drink selection are nice. Love how they provide entertainment almost everyday of the week too!“
“VEGAN TACOS!! Thank GOODNESS I finally found a place with vegan options after 21 years of living in northern Mi. They’re not even that complicated either- so simple, yet pretty tasty! I also love their brussels sprouts appetizer- could eat the whole thing myself. the waitresses are all super friendly & the dining area is clean. the bathrooms are large and clean as well. every time i come unto this area, i request the the crew that we dine here.“
“I went for breakfast and I got the Mexican Breakfast Burrito without chili, add bacon. I asked for less than half sweetness of the Vanilla Iced Coffee and it was still very sweet so keep that in mind if you're considering ordering that. The burrito was a bit dry without the chili, but chili and a burrito do not go together in the slightest in my mind. I ate outside and the set up was fine.“

“Good food breakfast lunch and dinners, leave our WILSON'S RESTAURANT alone! Indian River tradition, it's one of the last good places that hasn't gone corporate.. ? family oriented, kids menu, not sure what else you could ask for. I've been going there for 50 years, if you have to wait, it's means the food is good. I'm also a retired restraunt worker, you have no idea how hard it is here during season, an try to stay open during the off season. But they have done it.?Vegetarian options: Pick off the menu what you can eat!Parking: A lot.“

“Unique and satisfying! The food tasted great and came well presented. A full basket of smelt, fries, and a few hush puppies made for a filling lunch. My father ordered a club sandwich, which looked great. A meal big enough to take some home. Our waitress was polite and kind. I was interested in the many specialty drinks available that she pointed out. Will be fun to go back and try them.I'm excited for another quality business in Indian River. Thank you for the experience.“

“My husband and I were traveling through on our way back from Mackinaw and stopped for dinner. I had the best French dip I've ever had! Shaved prime rib and super soft bread. He has the olive burger and he said it was outstanding. The homemade chips were also great. We had the calamari appetizer which was also great, perfect breading, not rubbery and the sauce was unique and delicious. Our service was phenomenal. We love finding local, "hole in the wall" places and this hit all the marks!“

““Alvis” was on fire. I imagine if I could see Elvis now this is exactly what he would be like. I was afraid he was going to steal my girlfriend with all of his pelvic thrusts. “Alvis” is an American legend. Washington Monument, Mt Rushmore, The Grand Canyon and “Alvis”.“

“We went in as a group of 4. The service was great and everyone thought the food was good. Nice atmosphere with plenty of tv's for watching sports. Two of us had the liver dinner, one had chicken marsala and the other had chicken paccata, all were excellent. The mixed drinks were good as well. They made us feel welcomed and we will be back to try some other menu items.“
