“It's hard to review a Chinese restaurant as everyone has a different take on what the food is supposed to taste like. However, the food was fresh and delicious. I got the Almond Chicken with beef fried rice. The chicken was crispy, moist, seasoned great and did not taste like dirty oil, and the gravy was homemade. The beef fried rice was fried but not dry, tasted of beef with lots of chunks and had lots of bean sprouts. The egg roll was huge, full of bean sprouts and again, did not taste of dirty oil, also came with homemade plum sauce and not the cheap duck sauce packets. I would have knocked them a half star for high prices but you get what you pay for so 5 it is.“
“Thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism at this location. After ordering at the drive-thru and realizing a couple items were missing from my bag, I called them and told them as much. The manager, Abby, was super patient with me and went above and beyond to get me made whole again. These folks are worked to the bone, it goes without saying in any service industry let alone fast food. Mistakes happen, it’s okay! Many thanks to Abby and her staff for everything!!!“
“HUGE portions, my box was breaking from the amount of chicken. Tons of sauce. Crab Ragoons are impeccable, they’re sweet and fried to perfection. Cheapppppp prices especially for the amount and quality of food. Even the vegetables were cooked well. Sweet, lovely couple running the restaurant. Absolutely amazing! This is our go-to!!!! Enough food for breakfast, lunch and dinner ✨???“
“We travel A LOT and Google search for the best Ramen noodle bars on every trip!!! We picked Johnny’s solely based off of the reviews……and we are SO happy we did!!!!! Beef Bao, Chicken Ramen & New Seoul Ramen…10/10!!! (I tried posting pictures, but it didn’t give me the option to add a pictureKERRY…..she was THE BEST when walking through that door!!! She was vibrant, inviting, and SO helpful & knowledgeable with the menu as this was our first time ordering at Johnny’s! We will be back tomorrow!!! ??“
“Had lunch today with a girlfriend. We shared the General Tso chicken and green beans with garlic. Wow! Best I’ve ever had. Flavour was amazing, portions were very generous. Came with rice without needing to order it. Will definitely be back.“
“Their food is hands down the best Chineese food I have had. I have been going to this place for about a year and beyond impressed with the service and great food. I grew so tired of finding a good chineese restaurant and then a bad meal usually containing hard chicken I could not chew. This usually resulted in throwing most of it away. Not Chin's. Every meal has been perfectly prepared. They are a small family owned place that puts quality first.“
“Extremely friendly, never short on the food, the best Chinese I’ve had in Taylor. They are very prompt on pickup times, and when I ask to leave a tip, he just said come back(Tom) and gave a fist bump, a great place to eat and give business. A 10 to to me has been for a few years “
“When here on Wednesday, i got the almond chciken dinner with chicken fried rice, the food is excellent and the portions is huge , egg rolls delicious only thing is the egg drop soup is too salty and it was missing something but that can be fix. I differently will be back . And service is excellent too..“
“We love this restaurant and have been going here all my life. Great chinese food, quick (only about 10 mins) to get a carry out, and great portions. Also, they are always so sweet and nice. Glad to see they're still keeping up the good work, we love New Peking!“
“Definitely would say this is the best chinese restaraunt to go to around the Wyandotte/Southgate area. This is ran by a very nice family along with they have the best portions and prices in town. This will be my number one go to for now on. ?“
“A really surprisingly good restaurant. From the egg drop soup with crispy fried noodles to the crunchy and tasty crab meat rangoons everything was delicious. I had the beef with peapods and mushrooms and though I am a big eater it was too large a portion for me to finish.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options on the menuParking: The parking lot has just been repaved with an entrance in front and an exit in back so you don't have to try to turn around in the parking lotWheelchair accessibility: It looks like they have just repaved the parking lot and added a handicap ramp“
“This is my 2nd time here. I have to say, their chicken and broccoli is THE best I've ever had. The broccoli is tender crisp, not mushy. The flavor was spot on. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I've also tried their chicken egg foo yung and crab rangoon...very good. I will be going “
“Excellent all around. Delicious food, generous portions, fair pricing, friendly staff. The breading on the chicken is much lighter than any other place, which I prefer. It's always fully cooked but not tough. Fried rice is very different from others but again is better, and includes lots of chicken as well. My favorite ever Chinese restaurant.“
“Thank you, PF Changs Dearborn for making our Etiquette Luncheon a big hit. Our 5th grader mentees were impressed by the service and the tasty dishes served. The server was super patient and provided an impromptu lesson on using chopsticks. Many of the young ladies are hoping to return to PF Changs with their families.“
“My daughter, my mom, and I visit this restaurant monthly. It is 1 of the best Chinese food in the area and the waitresses are extremely friendly. My favorite dishes are the pepper steak, the Hong Kong Inn special, and of course almond chicken. Tried egg foo young for the first time today, and it was delicious! My new favorite is yang chow rice!“
“Good food! Can be a bit pricey, but the amount and the quality makes up for it.Parking: It's in a strip mall, so there's shared parking with other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor, with no steps to get in or out.“
“Always get a great amount of food. Fast service and great tasting This is our Christmas Day dinner. Usually have the whole family over. We have been going here since they opened up. Small but mighty place. Highly recommend. We have tried others but always come back for the best“
“First time customer, will be back!! Placed an order via their platform to have delivered. The driver contacted me upon arrival to let me know food was here, I loved that! The food smelt amazing and looked amazing!! It was beyond delicious, almond chicken was crispy, golden brown, general Tao was good and spicy very spicy, the fried dumplings and the sauce was my favorite!! The brown gravy could be better but all in all this meal was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time!“
“Wow. Just wow. I ordered a beef lo mein and when I tell you this is the best Chinese food that I have ever had I mean it. This dish had SOOO much flavor and was cooked perfectly. There wasn't as much beef as I would've liked in my beef lo mein but it was still amazing!“
“What a wonderful hidden gem. If you are in the Dearborn/Dearborn Hgts area and craving either Thai or Chinese you HAVE to try Delish Asian Cuisine at Ford Rd & Telegraph. A nice quint atmosphere, amazing foods, great drinks, and the customer service provided by the staff is outstanding. We have been numerous times, and left pleased every time.“
“I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“
“Today I tried this restaurant for the 1st time. It is Delicious!!!! The portion sizes are 1 1/2 times bigger than other places. The staff was polite. The service was fast. I will be dining here again. Will highly recommending this place.Vegetarian options: Crab ragoon, egg rolls, egg foo young patties all were scrumptious as well.“
“This is a take out Chinese Restaurant that only accepts cash. The beef and broccoli was not the best but far from the worst. The meat was tender and not chewy, the carrots and broccoli wasn't over cooked or raw-crunchy. Mine was not as seasoned as my daughter's, she had the same thing. The sweet and sour meal, I got no complaints about it. This place is rare for several reasons: price, shrimp comes in the rice (egg roll as well), and quantity plus they offer the option of sauce on your meal or on the side (sweet &sour)! Many locations have charges for shrimp friend rice, give you white rice and put your sauce in a cup for you to pour yourself. This is great if that is your preference. But I like fried rice not rice that I can get from my cabinet and cook (exception for certain dishes) and to see have my sauce covering the batter.“
“We have been going to Kwan's for the last 20+ years. I've seen them go from full dine in to just carry out. I can honestly say, you will not find another place like Kwan's. The food has been consistent and so good, like this is the place you go to if you want that comfort food when you have a crap day, you can rely on them. Sweet and sour chicken is always crispy and has fresh veggies and pineapple. Like honestly, I have not found another place that makes their sweet and sour chicken like this place. House lo mein, if you have not had it...just try it! Super flavorful! Shrimp fried rice, beef with broccoli, warbar, subgum with beef are good too. Staff is friendly and it's decently priced.“
“I've been spit on in the lobby of Rikshaw house by homeless. There's maybe no roof? When it's raining outside, it'll rain on you inside, too. I still come back for the food. Here's the deal: Chinese food sucks at most places, you have to find what you like best and go there for only that thing. Rikshaw has the best chicken pieces AND the best sauce flavor and texture for their chicken dishes. The prices make me feel like I'm still getting "too much food" for what I pay and that's important when other options are twice the cost for something with no leftovers. They used to be cash only but take card now.VIP dish: General's Chicken - it's more savory and has tons of onions.Honorable mention: Beef & Broccoli or Special Lo Mein (all meats)If you get Shrimp fried rice, get it with extra green onions and a side of gravy.Parking: Probably some nails and glass in the parking lot. Good thing you're used to it in Detroit.“
“Ordered for the first time and was pleased with the food, Almond chicken, steamed dumplings and sesame chickenThe almond chicken was crisp and the tempura didnt fall off, sesame chicken had good flavor as well.fried rice with the meal was a bit soft.A lot better than the other place in town on outer drive.“
“An OG hood classic. Everyone should have a place like this. This is the DEFINITION of cheap Asian food. They keep prices down and the food stays good. The restaurant and cuisine isn't the prettiest but everythings cheap, plentiful, and delicious. Never gotten sick or any negative effects from eating here, it's a win all around.“
“I don't think they offer dinning in but their food is amazing. My favorite is the egg drop wonton soup. The generals chicken is pretty good too. This is my go-to place in WyandotteVegetarian options: The vegetable lo mein is really goodParking: Depending on the time of day the parking lot is pretty full“
“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
“As aforementioned, it's the best spot around for Chinese food. Whether I'm getting their almond chicken, vegetable lomein, soup, sesame chicken, their rice... it's always delicious. Whoever answers the phone is always polite and friendly. I appreciate them making the occasional days I'm not cooking at home, something to still look forward to.“
“I love this place it's been and forever a lil hidden jem they have lunch specials and the good is always good the lady who shared the phone she is always pleasant never had a bad attitude and no matter what your food is always 30 minutes max try them you won't regret it“
“Looking for a Chinese food place and ended up finding this gem.Hibachi, sushi, Chinese. It’s great for the price, close and they seem to do allot of Togo orders. We ordered the bento box, bang bang chicken, Alaskan roll, the steak and lobster hibachi, gyoza, spring roll, and a crunchy crab roll. And they give you good sized portions.Everything tasted great, food was tender and flavorful. The wait staff are super friendly and cute. Will definitely be coming back. Great place to eat.The atmosphere isn’t extravagant, simple and convenient.“
