I wish we had tried this restaurant earlier, because it is great! I had the Cantarita to drink, and it was delicious with a great presentation. The enchiladas were delicious- and the chicken tacos were great. The food came out quickly and service was fast.

I have to be honest, I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur!! I grew up in Southern California with mostly Hispanic friends and around some seriously good authentic Mexican food. Michigan had very little to offer when I moved here 20 years ago. People recommended Beltline Bar. I remember saying what?!? That’s authentic Mexican??? 20 years later, Mexican restaurants are everywhere here! What I find interesting is people seem to think good Mexican food is just tacos. No!! Tacos are not all that Mexican food has to offer!! We recently found this place, and absolutely love it!! Enchiladas and burritos are excellent! The service is great, the food is great and the margaritas are delicious!!! I highly recommend this place. If you don’t like it, my guess is you don’t know authentic Mexican food. Stick with Beltline bar or other non-authentic Mexican taco places. Just know that is not true Mexican like this place is! 5 stars!

Favorite Mexican place in the area!!! Always welcoming staff! Food is the best, my favorite is the fajita quesadilla with a margarita on the rocks. Great distance from GVSU. Highly recommend

Always up for Mexican food. They allowed us to sit on the patio. It does sit by the road but it is shaded and has trees around it so it didn't seem too loud. The service was great! They came often to check on us. The chips and salsa were good. Not the best chips ever but I had two bowls, so obviously I can't complain. Some heat in the salsa they bring out too. I found the menu varied and some similar items cheaper than at other restaurants. They pack the chimichangas with so many tasty fillings and still give the side options. Also had grilled tacos; simple but actual grill marks and good flavor. I Would definitely come back here.
