I have been a fan of the Ice cream caboose since the day it opened and at that time I lived less than two miles away so it was a trip I made twice a week. I tried everything on the menu except for the non-dairy ice cream. The people who work in the caboose are always super friendly and you can plainly see it is a family environment. I will make the trip to the caboose at least twice each month of the summer season and fall. Overall the caboose is an icon of ice cream in the making.

Portions are horrible for price, I would rather make a drive I to lowell for better ice cream and pricing. Would not recommend this place

We really wanted to love this place but didn't. Very pricey and portion sizes were lacking. Not many choices of hard ice cream, and the one we chose was freezer burnt. Soft serve was low quality and and without much flavor.
