I got the farmers omlet replaced the ham with gyro, side of hash brown and a rice pudding! I was very satisfied. From the start the waitress was great and food was just as good. Will be back. Also a beautiful inside

Food is fresh, generous, delicious, room is light and airy, and the service is silly good - warm, friendly, lighthearted. Alpha Koney, which was a favorite of mine when they were on Ann Arbor-Saline Rd in the Target shopping strip, is ever better in its lovely new location on Jackson Road. Catch up, people!! Excellent breakfast, and a good deal for the price.

It was slow when I came in. Good crunch on the Koneys, as they all should. the server was kind quick. Even tho she was also helping someone book a private party. She still took time for me every so often. LOVED IT. ???

We hadn't been here since the restaurant changed hands a few years ago. I am sorry that we took so long to return and check this place out. The current owners completely redecorated what used to be a tired "American Diner" and turned it into a modern and extremely clean upscale family restaurant. This place is so much more than the classic "Michigan Coney" restaurant. The service was the friendliest and most attentive of any family restaurant that we've ever experienced. Unlike our current "regular" breakfast place, the music level was appropriate for its role as background music. Our regular place (which shall remain unnamed) usually plays good "oldies style" music but is quite loud and has more of a concert feel to it making conversation and concentration on the daily newspaper difficult. The breakfast potatoes at this place are still the sliced "American fries" style which we really enjoy over the often tasteless and undercooked "hash browns" served at so many other places. Our breakfast skillet dishes were very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the coffee was hot and strong! We will definitely be back and will probably make this our regular "go to" breakfast restaurant replacing another old standby down the street which we've been frequenting for so many years. Sometimes it pays to get out of your rut and try new places or revisit ones that have changed hands.

Food was unflavorful, actually found a small black hair in my hash browns mid way through eating them and was completely disgusted. Do not recommend this lace to anyone. Cheese was not melted on the hash browns but was brought out cold . Had to get up and get my own refills on drinks. Did not bring the food out at the same time. So people at our table were eating and others sat without food for another five minutes at a time.
