So first of all, some people have submitted photos to this WF's Yelp profile that are actually photos of the other WF on this side of Ann Arbor. I depended on those pics thinking that this location had what I needed, but unfortunately upon arrival realized I was at one without things I needed. Anyway.. we needed to make a quick stop on our way out of town. We were in town for an appointment at UM that Friday. We stayed the weekend and stopped in on Sunday morning. It was packed! I think a lot of people doing their weekly grocery shopping. I went to get my husband a smoothie and a coffee for me. They didn't have a smoothie area though, so he didn't get one. Also, the coffee bar in this place wasn't the typical WF coffee bar with a bunch of options for add ins and blended drinks - it was an Allegro coffee shop. Definitely not many options. However I got both my husband and I three shots of espresso over ice and then added our stevia and some half and half. The espresso was delish and we really enjoyed it. I was happy! This WF seems to have a decent amount of options. Kind of outdated looking. The fresh pizza sitting out smelled so good and seemed like it would be a great option for lunch. My husband got a blueberry cream cheese danish. He said it was alright. They had breakfast out on the bar instead of lunch and the eggs and breakfast meats looked pretty good. Again.. loved the coffee. Wish the pictures on this location were accurate though so that people don't get confused about what they offer!

Since they have been bought by Amazon they have changed some things. They no longer carry meringues and their yogurt section is diminished. Two of the main reasons I go there. Also the store is just different now in organization and layout (small changes) of the store. They do have a good selection of flour, cereals, tomato sauces and cheese! They also have peanuts you can grind yourself. I prefer the organic chicken at Busch's. It tastes better. I ordered pork chops at this while foods and asked for equal thickness all around, was shown two sides that were the same while the skinny edge, the butcher kept palmed. So out of 4 chops, two were perfect and two went from 1.5" on one part to .7 inch on the other. It depends on what I'm making as to whether or not this matters, but when it matters I want to be shown all sides of the chop for uniform thickness and not assured they are the same thickness when they aren't. Salmon is better at Plum Market. Through once a year this Whole Foods gets the king copper river salmon that is amazing and a better price than elsewhere. I still like Whole Foods herbs, fruits and vegetables though! They are also closer to my house so I go there a lot. For body care, hair care, and supplements, I also prefer plum market for their better selection. Thanksgiving turkeys? Never again! I will by local, or go to another store for brined or organic turkeys. They have taken and subsequently cancelled my turkey order this year only a week before thanksgiving. Last year was also a harrowing experience with them. Where I was unable to get what I wanted weeks before thanksgiving. Plum market is much more organized. So is peoples food coop for that matter plus there are other local sources for fresh organic turkey.

Whole Foods is paired with Amazon Prime and the deals are pretty amazing. Whole Foods is expensive, but the last few visits we've made we have only shopped Amazon Prime sale items and we have scored some really good deals. Siggi's yogurt for $1 a cup (at Meijer it's 2 cups for $3) and Zivia sugar free soda 2 for $7 (Meijer has 6 packs for $6.50 each). We also really like Whole Foods 365 sparkling water - MVP likes the lemon and I like the plain. It sells for about $3.50 for a 12 pack, which is less than La Croix and it's really good. We drink a lot of sparkling water so we stock up every time we go. You do have to remember to show your Prime Membership at checkout, but that is as easy as opening the app on your phone. This last trip we also got avocados for $1.25 each which is a fairly good price considering Meijer has them for over $2 sometimes and we got a bit of Lily's sugar free chocolate which Meijer is now carrying in Kalamazoo, but Whole Foods has a huge selection. In short, Whole Foods is still a great supermarket and they have really stepped up their sale game by adding Prime.

I'm really not loving the Amazoning of this store. It seems like items are being moved around on a weekly basis, and all of the signs over the aisles have been removed. A cashier informed me that this was to encourage serendipity (and for us to buy more things we didn't come for) but hey, I just want to get my darn granola bars and go home to a place where I'm not being treated like a data point. WHERE ARE THE GRANOLA BARS JEFF BEZOS??

My favorite Whole Foods Location. Fresh produce, friendly service, bomb hot and cold bar. If you have a sweet tooth they have amazing chocolates and ice cream and cakes and cookies ... shall I go on? If you've never had Whole Foods pizza, get a slice next time you're in there. Even if you're not hungry! You'll thank me later.

My husband and I calculated that we've spent upwards of $86k at this store in the last several years. That is a down payment on a house! Sadly, one of the main things we preferred about this store, the customer service, has gone south in the last 1-2 years. There have been multiple minor incidents with staff that have had a cumulative effect and led us to take the majority of our business elsewhere in the last couple years. I won't detail all the incidents but the last few times I've been here I have left feeling like something was off about the way the cashiers and staff spoke to me or treated me. One of those times a cashier was ringing me up and I was focused on punching in my payment info while one of the other cashiers pulled up and started bagging the groceries in my cloth bags. The cashier who was ringing me up looked at me pointedly and gestured to a bag and said "that is NOT yours, another customer left that here." I was so confused because I was not monitoring the grocery bagging process. And instead of explaining, the guy who was bagging the groceries just shrugged his shoulders and moved on. In fact, none of that matters compared to the time a year or two ago when I saw them call the cops on a black lady who was having a hard time but was not a danger to anyone. The cops cuffed her while she clearly needed some mental health help. That was when I should have completely stopped coming here. At one time there were a number of staff members who were wonderful, but it is indicative of the changing culture of the store that most of those nice staff members are no longer working there. For those who love shopping here, please by all means continue. But never kid yourself that Whole Foods is ethical, or cares about its customers (okay, maybe if you're rich and white), about its food quality, or about anything other than its profit margins. Maybe at one time long ago they did, but those halcyon years are gone. This town has plenty of other excellent options for us to bother coming here.

Whole Foods Market has something for everyone and every budget. Every item is of the utmost quality and freshness. A good place to pick up groceries or enjoy an item or two from the various food bars.

This is a pretty standard Whole Foods Market. I grabbed a hot rice bowl that had lots of fresh grilled salmon and steamed veggies on brown short grain rice. A good bowl, but a bit sweet with the sauce. The store was clean and had a good selection of produce and meats. I was traveling so I picked up a bagel and cold smoked salmon for the day after and some local kombucha beer! Really digging the local kombucha beer vibe in AA.

This Whole Foods is an absolute dump and does not live up to the standard of the several other WF I've experienced. We went to both while in Ann Arbor, and this is definitely the one you DO NOT want to end up at as a traveler. The produce was wilty and gross, they had a whole isle out of commission, and their carts were rusty! Clean up or close. So disappointing.

This Whole Foods location is very accessible. It is located right off 94 making it easy to stop in for coffee or a snack as you're passing through town. Additionally, this store is usually very well-stocked except around the beginning of the school year, right after Christmas break, and right after u of m spring break, and game days. You won't have a problem finding parking as there is some on the side and directly out front of the store. Note: they have a coffee bar, but not a smoothie bar like the Whole Foods on the east side of town.

Such a friendly place to do my daily groceries! Never had an unpleasant experience here. Whether it's to buy some groceries, get a meal from their hot bar/salad bar, or to satisfy my sweet tooth from their delicious sweet selections, all of their produce and products seem to be fresh. I love the Italian soda (blood orange) that they sell here! A definite healthier alternative from drinking pop. I also strongly STRONGLY recommend their kale salad. I love to add blueberries and pickled onions into it as well. Definitely my favorite healthiest meal that I have ever had. Not only is everything they have to offer is great, but the employees are also the nicest. They always seem to offer assistance and the register employers are also the best. They always make sure to add friendly comments and start a brief conversation as you check out. Whole Foods, keeping doing you! Cause I love everything about yall!

The beer and wine bar is the best! If Justin is there, he knows his stuff about beer. Taps change daily, which is so cool!!

This is the better Whole Foods Market in Ann Arbor. The store is laid-out well -- it is easy to find what I need. When I need help, the friendly staff members are always there. The organic produce selection is great. They have fresh-baked Vegan cookies and Vegan pizza; plus plenty of Vegan options on the salad bar. The main reason I come to this store is the happy atmosphere generated by the welcoming friendly staff.
