I ate here quite a few times. Most recently with family, while shopping in Ann Arbor. They even had plant-based meat I really enjoyed on my grilled veggie and mix bowl. Thank you!

Fun place. You make a bowl from recipe cards and they cook it on the grill. Fun to watch them and the foods good

The hostess at the front was extremely rude. If you're not taking walk-ins until a certain time there is a nicer way of going about it.

We had a great waiter! He was funny and attentive to our large party that included kids and adults. The environment was casual and kid friendly with some fun cocktail options for adults. This is the place to go if you like the ability to put your own meal together in whatever way that tickles your fancy. Honestly, the options were overwhelming for me and my daughter so we ordered off the menu. I got the Korean barbecue dish with chicken. It was well seasoned and spicy. I had it with rice. I felt like it was a relatively healthy option. At this restaurant you can really choose what type of meal you want with whatever sauce you like. My son enjoyed choosing his ingredients and watching the cooks prepare it. It was fun for him and also educational.

Went for a girls night and had amazing service! After walking in the cold from a parking structure a few blocks away we were immediately greeted and taken to a table. Tony came out and greeted us; let me just say, the rest of the night couldn’t have been better! All of the staff had such upbeat attitudes. Tony was very attentive to all of the tables. When we asked for something it came immediately. Drinks were never empty! So glad I went. Will be going back just for the service!

First time at the Ann Arbor location.Counters were sticky with sauce everywhere. The sauce cups were sticky and dirty as well. The cook "Tyler" was really socially awkward and made me and my date uncomfortable with certain comments and body behavior. He under cooked her chicken and when she brung it to his attention he put it back on the grill and didn't attend to it properly. He was clearly irritated that he had to cook her meal longer. He put everything thing back in the bowl and the end result was still under cooked chicken. The manager "Steve" saved the day.He cooked me and my dates food himself and it was perfect! He expressed his apologies and took care of everything. He righted all the wrongs and I'm satisfied with the compensation. We loved the food but wasn't to fond of that location. Thanks again Steve.

Solid 4.0 Stars.Love BD's Mongolian's Grill, have been here many times, came here recently with some friends and had a great experience as always.Recommendations:Food: Stick to the build your own bowl, and don't hesitate to pile it on (one bowl is probably sufficient for most people and the unlimited bowl might be an good option if you are extremely hungry. (the ultimate bowl they include the unlimited soup for $17.99 (best value) and the single bowl should include one trip to the soup and salad but I think they had a modified menu and added $1.99 for soup and salad (not certain about this) (I maybe mistaken on this). Either way going with the soup and salad is HIGHLY recommended my me because both their soup and salads are extremely good and worth the add on.Pro Tip: You can bring up more then one egg so feel free to carry 2 in your hand not in your bowl to save space and afterword's go back and pickup the sauce you want.Drinks: I had a tall Angry Orchard and it was absolutely delicious but I've always liked Angry Orchard. Next time I want to try their Margarita's and eventually several of their other cocktails.Service was great, the grill masters are always excellent and perform their work like an art form while keeping their customers entertained. Remember to bring some cash so you can leave them a tip. Does not hurt to be generous, and they deserve it.Cons:My only gripe with this place is the prices have gone up likely due to COVID, the food to value for this place really needs to be about $2 lower to be perfect. Hope after COVID is over they bring the prices in line with what they should be.Conclusion: Love the place go check it out, its a fun time with good atmosphere, you'll enjoy it.

First time at THIS location, I feel bad for the cooks, he’s being over worked, an this location makes the cooks grab the rice for you.. other locations the waitress will grab it so the cook can focus on cooking… I tipped the cook 2 times because I felt so bad for how much he was working. He was great. But a bad setup going on in this location. An no noodles ready in the bins

Most of the time it’s really good, but there are times when it’s just bad. Seems like there one or two cooks who don’t really know what they’re doing, but, overall I’ve had mostly great experiences.I was disappointed that they weren’t able to apply a 20% off for “takeout Thursday” after I placed a take out order online. The girl on the phone rudely told me to “press the back button and see if it could be applied”, so I don’t think she understood what I was saying as I already paid for it. I’ve worked at a few restaurants and we’ve always been able to fix that for customers, so I was surprised that she claimed they couldn’t go in and apply the 20% off and just credit my card.

Very good good. The food is really fresh. You can make a salad, fajitas, typical Mongolian food...There is a buffet where you grab your raw ingredients and sauce. Then they grill it Infront of you and you can take it back to your table to eat. They have a price for 1 bowl and unlimited bowls.

I came here twice and really liked it! I did notice that it’s a lot better to order the self made bowl like most customers do since ordering a specialty bowl takes a long time to come out. When you cone and got the “make it yourself”, the grill masters are a great team, and make a fun environment for everyone while cooking up your personally selected ingredients from the food bar. Will recommend, but consider sticking to the custom bowl options (it’s the popular choice anyway)

We received a birthday gift (a BOGO discount) which is nice. We also understand the pandemic time is tough and accept the fact that the price increased once again since our last visit. However, the service does need some improvements. It seemed to us that the server treated other tables as normal but put us aside (extra wait time for drinks, the check, etc.). I would regard this as a "discrimination". I think I may need to have a try on another bd's in Canton to see if this is normal in all bd's restaurants or just a corner case...

This used to be my favorite BDs location but the last few times my fiancée and I came in we have been greeted with nasty attitudes. We called at 7:15 to see how long the wait was and they said 15 mins. When we got there at 7:34 the host didn’t greet us just rudely asked if we had a reservation because if not it was going to be an hour wait. We explained that we just called and they told us it was going to be a 15 min wait. She proceeded to cut me off and said “Things can change in 15 mins it’s now an hour wait”. I try to be understand of staffing issues during the pandemic but I just don’t understand why I am being greeted with attitudes and nastiness. Never coming back to the Ann Arbor location again.

This location is horrible, we tried to go there 3 times and each time is was some horrible excuse as to why we can get a table. This final time the hostess stepped up with a somewhat empty dinning room tells us with the nasties attitude that we don’t have a reservation and can’t make one because they close at 10:00 and it’s only 7:00. We will never visit this rude location again
