Ordered Emile's Arugula salad. Vinaigrette completely lacked seasoning and acid. Glazed walnuts were half burnt. Portion was incredibly small for price. My wife had pasta that was good but not great for price. I ordered the Steak Bernaise, which was featured. Steak was well cooked but not rested before it was sliced, causing juices to flood the plate destroying the Sauce Bernaise. Three tiny asparagus spears were served with the woody ends.On a positive note, our young server, James, was competent and appropriately friendly.

Waiting a long time for food, and a long time for the check. Kitchen unable to make omelette without onions. Eggs and potatoes very undercooked. French press coffee very weak, consistency of tea. Espresso martini made with hot coffee, and was served warm, and not chilled at all. Server did not check up on us. Booked reservation as a birthday celebration that was never acknowledged.

I'd go to Cafe Zola whenever I could or can! I just asked a long time friend to meet me there in 3 days for brunch. I LOVE the market, and also the food, music, ambiance, wait staff. One cannot go wrong! JH

Great atmosphere, great service, quality ingredients, hand picked sources and vendors. Great cocktails and brunch. Large menu of authentic cultured eats!

Had brunch there with a few friends on Sunday. Started off with an Espresso Martini that was $15 and was watered down and barely tasted of coffee. Ordered the Shakshuka and it was not good at all. Instead of a tomato base, it was mostly grilled peppers and onions and just a few pieces of tomatoes. It was not saucy enough and the eggs were overcooked where they should be runny. It did not come with a side of bread so I had to order that in the side. It was overpriced $20 for the quality of food. Very disappointed and will not dine there again.

Disclaimer, we were here at a very busy time on a Sunday for brunch. With that said, the service was awful. The server was doing her best, but there was clearly not enough staff. We waited 30 mins just for our coffees. Combine this with everything being over priced, it is a bad customer experience.

Our experience was great! We were visiting with our niece and nephew from Chicago. They had college friends join us, who unexpectedly showed up with their baby. Our wait person accommodated us SO WONDERFULLY! Food was superb as usual. Loved being there on a basketball Sunday with parties from both teams well represented. We were wondering why it had been so long since we had dined with you! We'll be back soon.

Every disappointed, service was incredibly slow, took 30 mins to get a coffee and a drink, was told they were too busy to make a Carmel cappuccino but could make a regular cappuccino ???? How hard is it to add Carmel sauce, in the time you took to come back to tell us it was too busy??? Food was just ok, way over priced for what it was, an omelette for $22??? With ham and veggies. Took about 10 mins to get check back with our card after we paid. Will not be back.
I've been a longtime fan of Zola but our last meal was disappointing. Oysters at $4 each were tiny. Mussels were cold. When I mentioned this to our waitress she said “sorry” but offered nothing more. I would have appreciated “I'll bring you some hot ones”. Sigh.

Dined in recently with my friends and my experience here was completely ruined by how either the manager or owner (older lady, dark hair) treated her staff in front of us. Whoever the owner is, if this lady is not, should be absolutely mortified by her behavior. Our meal was completely ruined by her constant and obvious reprimanding of staff. She needs to be careful because these workers are the reason she even has a job and/or has a business. I would be surprised to know if this place has regulars, I certainly will never be coming back, which is a shame because the food was good.

We went there in a small group. The food was good! We ordered a couple of starters and a main course. I had the lamb rack which was quite juicy and the side dishes were delicious.

Food is amazing, no doubt. Feels crammed as far as seating goes. Not much space to move around at all. Prices are not justifiable, $9 for a glass of OJ is wild.

If you can justify spending $100+ on a breakfast for two that doesn't include any alcohol, then this is the place to do it because the food is amazing and the restaurant is extremely pleasant to dine in.
