We came to celebrate our anniversary. First and foremost the staff was incredible. They were very nice. Loved the atmosphere as it was nice and low key. Fireplace was beautiful. Loved that they actually offered bottle water or tap water (it is filtered tap water). Loved that they didn't sit us by children (I it was nice to be out without our children for once). The menus are tablets which I thought was pretty cool. Loved that it wasn't loud or very bright... We got bread which was good but the purple butter tastes like cough medicine to me personally so I just didn't eat the butter. The Spinach and artichoke dip was good just on the spicy side. My fiance got a salad and he said it was really good. I got the half chicken which was good. The green stuff on it tastes likemushed pees but it was easy to not eat it. The broccoli was like a mix between burnt but soggy but me not eating it didn't have anything to do with that, I just don't like it in general. The smashed potatoes were SO good. The Chicken was very moist and tasted really good. The chocolate mousse cake was good but the raspberry sauce really comes up and kicks you in the face but it wasn't too sweet which made it really good. Overall it was a nice experience and the staff signing an anniversary card for us was just the sweetest. I think if our taste buds were more fancy we would probably go back.

Carson's is a quaint and comfortable restaurant with great service and delicious food and drinks. It's not on Main Street and is less crowded and parking is free right in front of the restaurant. What a great thing ?Vegetarian options: Not vegan it definitely options you would see other places. You do not go here for veggie meals as a group.Parking: In front of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Did not see kids, mostly dates and couples or adults eating during my visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, up front

Easter Brunch for a party of 12. Our server was very attentive and provided friendly, accurate service even on a hectic day. The food was just 'ok' with some of the 'hot' food cold and the prime rib was underdone and too Chewy. I've had a much better brunch elsewhere for similar prices.

Pretentious over price "specials" didn't eat my chicken leg but didn't send it back either. Maybe another dish can have a chance with me?Because of the decor and atmosphere would I take a dare.

Just got appetizers. The Brussel sprouts were very delicious. Fries crispy and yummy. The bread was warm and fresh. The regular menu food is quite expensive. Staff very kind.

This was a wonderful experience. Each dish was absolutely creative but also extremely flavorful. They took traditional dishes and put their own personal spin on them with ease(most places attempt to do this but it ends up being bland or a bad combination). Thoroughly impressed with every dish. We had stroganoff(amazing) whitefish (amazing again and cooked to perfection). We had spinach and artichoke dip as well as chicken tortilla soup. Even the bread and olive butter was great. For desert we had mint chocolate chip Oreo cheesecake (extremely flavorful) and maple creme brulee (cooked to perfection yet again). The one thing that was still good but did not overwhelmingly stand out was the bacon Mac and cheese. It was still very good quality Mac and cheese though. The service was great. The ambiance was fun , but also wholesome and definitely sets the mood ! The food pairs with the setting wonderfully and the playlist was majority old school jams !!!!(loved their playlist). It was a place where you have room to sit and breath without worrying about bumping the next table and you can make it a casual night out for attire or get fancy and neither option feels over or under done. Just be you and have a great time and enjoy the meal ! Thanks so much for being great Carson’s! As a person who multiple times per week is out searching new areas and places to eat and particularly looking for fine dining experiences my hat is off to the affordable (but yet quite a bit better than most places that are less affordable) experience that you receive here ! Please do yourself 10 favors at once and book your next dinner reservation with Carson’s on a Monday or a Saturday night and anything in between. Will definitely be returning soon! Maybe even tomorrow

As a party of 2 on a Thursday night we were seated upon arrival. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip. It had a wonderful unexpected nacho cheese flavor and was served with warm chips. The bread was delicious and came with a Kalamata olive butter that was fantastic! Our meal from start to finish was superb! Entrée’s were stroganoff & the whitefish! I can’t fail to mention the awesome playlist and beautiful fireplace. This place is a jewel in Ann Arbor and we we definitely be back again!!!

Happy Hour was great! I took my wife for Valentine's Day the other day and enjoyed every bit of it. $5 appetizers and $8 cocktails were amazing! Great vibes at the bar and nice servers. I would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit to the restaurant. I had checked the menu on line to know what was offered for dining. Some of the items on website I did not see on the menu the server provided. The wait person was EXCELLENT he clearly was prepared for our questions ect.One thing that truly bothered me was the physical menu prices verse the on-line website menu pricing. VERY MUCH different.I would suggest that the website prices be updated or just not listed.
