This place is all vegan ? I ordered the banh mi and it was pretty good overall. Service was also pretty quick, which was nice. The only downside in my opinion is that the portion size is kinda small so I was still a bit hungry ? even after my meal! Note: this place is usually very busy so be prepared to wait a lil ⏲️

You don’t even need to be vegan to love this place. Simply delicious food with a perfect light & airy ambiance adorned with interesting plants and art. My Taco ‘Bout It Salad was exceptional and my son throughly enjoyed his Grilled Queso Burrito. Our server was wonderful. Thank you Detroit Street Filling Station for creating such a splendid eatery for everyone (vegans and all!) Can’t wait to return

Still love the cauliflower wings, but I’m giving this place a 4 because the Reuben has become rather disappointing. I’ve gotten the Reuben for years but I don’t think I’ll order it again…Perhaps an unfortunate consequence of covid, but the sandwich now has more sauerkraut than tempeh and thus it’s sour and off balance. Bread was soggy, even though we ate there and the sandwich wasn’t sitting, waiting for pickup.Overall, the reuben also lacked flavor. I’m sad this sandwich has lost its magic!
I absolutely love this restaurant. I drove an hour to try it and it’s worth it! The food is delicious, atmosphere is warm and cozy, the staff is great, and the drinks are tasty! As a vegan latina, I have been MISSING horchata - and the horchata here is fantastic. You MUST get the buffalo cauliflower wings - I don’t know how they made them so delicious. 10/10 recommend

The Lunch Room crew has done it again! Outstanding food, warm & inviting space, & the people are amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them-- from the founder to every staff member. And I have not stopped thinking about the navy bean & rosemary soup. So good.

The vegan burrito is my favorite vegan food anywhere. Can only get it when I visit my daughter at UM. Wish I could go more often.
I'm actually not vegan, but have really enjoyed everything here. Raspberry toasted cashew-cheese sandwich is awesome.

Omgggggg this place is DELICIOUS!!!!! I have recently switched to a vegan diet and had been wanting to try this place! I spoke to one of the staff members, who took me through the menu and offered suggestions. You must get the Buffalo cauliflower, the 1/2 order is pretty big.I can’t wait to come back!
This is such a cool place to eat. It has a very "college town" vibe. There were students, and townies together enjoying great vegan food, which is a phrase I never thought I'd use. I'm impressed.

Fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. The environment is really great here. Staff are always super kind and helpful and the food is amazing. Big fan of the tots! Pretty wide array of beverages but I hope they bring back the Shorts Locals Light!

LOVE this place. Staff are always so kind and the food is almost always amazing (especially the apps). Sort of strange having to order/pay before and bakery items are very hit or miss. Tried everything they've had available when I've gone and the banana cake and corn bread/butter are delicious but the cookies and brownies are great. I drive from Toledo so definitely worth the visit!Vegetarian options: All vegan
