What a nice cozy place! We ordered an old school Detroit pizza and it was really good. Well stocked bar is a plus! We’ll be back!

Ordered delivery pizza(cannot speak to atmosphere or in house service). I will say, the veggie pizza was RAW under some of the larger, wetter toppings. They had whole tomato slices that prevented the pizza from cooking. Pepperoni was better, but still a fairly floppy pizza. In my mind Detroit style needs to have very crispy crust with a soft center but this was really subpar for the price.

Ordered the Old School Pep. I love Detroit style and had a decent pizza there when they first opened. This time the pizza was disappointing. The frico was good, cheese crisped around the entire perimeter, but besides that I wouldn’t call this Detroit style. The bottom of the crust was soft and bready, and didn’t seem like any butter was used in the pan and perhaps undercooked. There was barely any sauce and no sauce at all on top of the pizza, unlike like the picture on their menu which features a pizza with the traditional sauce on top.I called to describe this and asked if the sauce was a mistake and the bartender said no, the pizza does not come topped with sauce. I told them the pizza was disappointing and they said, “Ok.”

Pizza is good and fast. If I worked in the area I think this would be in my rotation. There are other better pizza options I would go to first if you were ordering to go. Although I'm a Buddy's snob with Detroit pizza, so maybe take that into account.

They seriously need to do something about their wings. I ordered some and these are, at best, the level of frozen wings I could get at Kroger. A large percent of the mass of the wing is the—very flabby and soft—skin. When I saw the price was higher than normal wings ($15 for a half pound) I was expecting something else. I’m a lost cause because I’ll never eat here again, but I seriously suggest you think long and hard before ordering their wings. It’s egregious

I want this restaurant to succeed! We need good pizza downtown. The pizza was very tasty and the salads were really generously sized. The only problem was that we took out, and the hot pizza was placed directly into the box without a liner to slightly hold it off the bottom, so it was soggy instead of crisp. Detroit pizza should be crisp. The leftovers were perfect when heated in the oven, since it crisped the crust.

So disappointed with this place. The pizza was meh at best. The crust was too soft and the sauce was very bland. The Caesar salad was nothing special. I definitely won't waste time at here again. Sad.

The happy hours are a great deal!!8 bucks for fried chicken and pizza fries! Just can't beat the price.

Very attentive service.Cheesesteak sandwich is passable but not the most prominent item on the menu.Detroit-style pizzas appear sufficiently deep and satisfying.Ambiance is more edgy and artsy rather than casual and relaxing.

Perfect place to come for a University of Michigan or Lions game. They have a heavy pour and the best Detroit style pizza in Ann Arbor. My favorite is the pickle pizza. My fiancé and I have come here regularly and have had exceptional service and enjoyed a great atmosphere.

Delicious Detroit style pizza. Took a little longer than some other pizzas, but it's Detroit style, not thin, and we were there at a weird time after just opened, so... The service was friendly and very helpful. - Lots of beer on tap and great spaces up and downstairs. We'll be back soon with a group!Vegetarian options: At least three non-meat pizzas, which is great!

Great tasting food. If you are a local pizza enthusiast, I would put the style somewhere between Jet's and Buddy's but their topping choices are completely original. I've gone for lunch a few times and have always been greeted by friendly staff as soon as I've walked in and haven't had to wait long for my food to be ready. It is definitely going to be in my permanent rotation.
