WORST PLACE EVER!!!! I've tried them a few times & the last time would be my absolute last. The food is ALWAYS DRY!! From the rice to the lo main and poultry. TERRIBLE!! No seasonings & barely any flavor. Then I decided to try something new, didn't like it, sent it back and ordered something else...& they tried to make me pay for both meals. Saying it's their policy. Now I've been a server for the past 9 years & not one restaurant EVER had a stupid ass policy like that!! DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS TERRIBLE PLACE !!!! If I could do NO STARS I WOULD!!!

One of the best Sichuan resturants I have ever had in the US, and I am from Chengdu Sichuan. Anyone who tells you this place isnt good dont know what to order. It’s a beautiful resturant, quiet and polished, and the food is ON POINT.

Worst chinese food I've ever had. Ordered orange chicken. Huge chunks of bland chicken. No flavor. Also ordered chicken fried rice. Rice dry and bland.

Very slow with pickup. And food is expensive. Do not go there. Ordering experience is a mess.

This place is definitely underrated. Great for takeout or dine in. Fast service, fresh food, and affordable. It offers much more than your average Americanized Chinese spot. I highly recommend checking this place out.
I did not see any hot pot options on the menu and our waitress was by herself working the whole seating area by herself with about 6 or 7 tables some with over 4 people per table. So I didn't want to take up any more of her time than necessary ?. Overall it was OK but a little disappointed that I couldn't try their hot pot? If they even have it? I probably won't go back.

While the atmosphere was certainly interesting, it was nothing special. The service and food didn't measure up. Now I'm a big fan of chinese food and while I'm no expert... In this reviewers humble opinion, this restaurant was not worth the visit. The service was not bad it just felt like our server was going through the paces. The food... what can I say other than unsatisfying? The eggplant in my wife's dish was served with the skin on it, and while pretty to look at was inedible, and she spent half our time we were there scraping the flesh from the skin to eat it, this dish was her third choice as they were out of her first and second selections as well as our appatiser; vegitable dumplings. My dish: almond boneless chicken, a Chinese restaurant staple! Where to start... the chicken was mostly tough, two pieces couldn't be cut through, and the gravy had a thick skin on it and was almost void of flavor ?. Unfortunately, I would not return for another experience.

This is a decent Chinese restaurant you can find in Ann Arbor. I’m not saying all of their dishes are amazing and authentic. But there are a few I would highly recommend. the Peking duck, dry chilli pot (so far tried lamb and frog leg they are both tasty) and hot pot fish literally took me back in China. The waiters are nice and polite.

Look, I have a very particular idea of Kung Pao chicken. I’ve had it all over China, and loved each local version, but most often I want it the way they made it in the town I grew up in. And this is it. I could eat it every day. This is comfort Chinese food to me. They do the “authentic” stuff great here too, but sometimes you want a great version of Americanized Chinese food, not just some generic processed Panda Express or PF Chang’s, but home-cooked. Hot Pot Chen does that better than any other place I’ve found in A2 or Ypsi. The hot and sour soup, eggrolls, and dumplings are great too. One of my go-to places, and you get a lot for what you pay.
