Coming from Jackson, this is the best sushi I have had in Michigan so far. Great, friendly, fast service. This place goes under the radar because it seems like a lunch spot for office workers. On a Saturday it’s quiet, calm, and serves well-made rolls. The chef seems talented. If you’re used to eating a few specialty rolls, watch out because these are generously made. My kind of place.

Although the building basically looks abandoned from the back, DO NOT skip this place! Very friendly staff, very clean, modern restaurant with delicious food (and extensive GLUTEN-FREE options). Also, try the orange seafood ceviche - very unique and tasty! Highly recommended. I am only in town once in awhile, so you locals need to support this place so that it will still be here when I am back again.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. It's our go-to spot for sushi. The poke bowl is generous and well balanced with seafood, vegetables, and rice. The restaurant is clean and neat but a little stark in ambience. Service is great and polite but not especially engaging.

A sushi craving came on, so I google searched for a place nearby. Kanbu in the 777 office building was the closest, so I decided to play sushi roulette and try it out.Our takeout was ready on time. The service was friendly. The 777 building was convenient and clean.Unfortunately, I was anticipating better flavor. The miso soup was like drinking warm, unflavored water. The sushi was fair at best. The chicken teriyaki bento box was probably the better item in the order. All in all, my craving had been dealt with, and I did not end up with any stomach after effects, so that's saying something.I will definitely try a different place next time sushi craving hits.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my dining experience. The service was subpar, even though we were one of the only tables in the restaurant. Our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and unhelpful when we asked for clarification on an entree's ingredients or special recommendations. She repeatedly pointed us towards the menu and failed to attend to our needs, even when we asked for basic utensils. The food was also disappointing: the Miso Soup was barely warm and had to be reheated, the Spicy Seafood Sundubu was flavorless and consisted of seafood floating in boiled water, and the Dragon Burrito was disgustingly bland. The only redeeming dish was the coconut shrimp appetizer. Overall, I consider this experience a complete waste of time and money.

In this life, there are a few things that are guaranteed. But, I will make two guarantees for you right now:1) if you like Asian cuisine with a creative flair, you will love it here.2) you will have an incredibly hard time finding it.There's no street sign to tell you there are any restaurants here. And, even with the address, you will pull up to this office building and swear that there must be some mistake. Even as you bumble your way through the building, passing a snack bar ("is that it??" you may wonder), you may think that you wasted your time.Fortunately, the time you lose trying to figure out where the heck the place is will be more than made up by the incredibly fast service. A cup of tea is $3.50 vs $4.50 for a pot of tea. The pot comes with a really tiny cup, maybe 2 ounces worth, but there is plenty for at least two people.I ordered a Bibimbap Burrito. This sounds like the sort fo thing I might create late at night after spending too much time in a hookah lounge. The burrito is downright heavy: it seems that the created a bowl worth of bibimbap and wrapped it up. There's a lot here, and it's delicious. The only thing missing from the bibimbap experince is that there's no crispy rice, which you'd get if it were served in a bowl. But, the flavors are fantastic. And, it's not wrapped in a tortilla: instead, there's a sheet of nori, so it's like a gargantual sushi roll. There are an assortment of sauces available; I picked eel sauce. This was served with a miso soup. Nothing fancy, and not much in the bowl except for a few tiny tofu cubes, but it was tasty. Not realizing how enormous that beast of a burrito was, I also ordered 2 eel sushi. They were flawless. The rice was clearly very recently cooked (as with the burrito), since it was still warm. I savored every bite. The prices are reasonable here, too. There are traditional dishes (like bibimbap in a bowl), but there are also cool twists on the traditional. There are a lot of things I want to try another tme. And, fortunately, I will know how to find the place next time.

Bento Box (sushi and sashimi) was substantial with high quality items. Only disappointment was in the salad served before the box, which was watery and too much dressing on top. Atmosphere was classic quick dining spot in an office building, not feeling the high level environment for top-rate food.

Very much a hidden gem, tucked away on the main floor of an office building. You wouldn't think there'd be a sushi restaurant, let alone a good one. Pricing is a little more premium, but their food is also premium. My go-to is their Bibimbop - very simple, yet delicious and filling!

The sushi burrito is soo good! This place has great energy, the food came quickly, and it's not too expensive for how much food you get. I definitely recommend.
