Food is reasonably priced and portion sizes are good. Authentic Korean style dishes, and great soups. Highly recommend!

I come here often for really good and well-priced Korean food. Everything I’ve tasted has been really tasty and there are definitely a handful of dishes that are better than my mom’s shhhh. It’s a family-run business and the food and vibe really feels like you’re coming to a home cooked meal. With all great places, they fill up rather quickly so make sure you get in a little earlier to avoid longer wait times (they also don’t take reservations)

The food is off the charts. The stuff not only on the front but also in the kitchen are amazing.

Extremely rude manager in this restaurant. We ordered three dishes and one was lost ( not counting for the bill, and we found the issue before leaving, so it's solved) and one was ordered wrong. We called to the restaurant and the manager began with the sentence "we will not return your money at all." Whatever the reason he indifferently provided, the whole attitude irritated us. He kept conveying that he thought we were wrong to not understanding Korean, we deserved what we got, and he didn't intend to solve any issue because the issue was made by us. We totally didn't want to argue with the manager, but his constant blaming made us stress out and we had to defend. The food itself is normal (sweet and spicy, so someone may prefer this) and Rich JC has way better taste for their food.

How do I give enough love to this place? They kept me fed and brought me joy through the worst parts of university, relationships, and pandemic. One meal on a struggling college student's budget fed me physically for 3 days and emotionally for a week. I still consider their Duk Bok Ki as a hug in a bowl and I make it a point to stop by and pick up dinner from them whenever I'm near Ann Arbor. If your looking for delicious Korean comfort food, nothing beats Kang's.

My favorite Ann Arbor restaurant! The bibimbap is my favorite I have had ever. I always get the beef in the hot stone bowl! The potstickers are also always amazing and everything is so well priced. Both take out and dine in are great so if it's super busy you can always get it to go! I've never had a bad experience, the absolute best!

I ordered the bulgogi set meal. About $16 including tip. The contents are bulgogi, rice, and a small bowl of kimchi and bean sprouts. The amount is just right, not too much. Bulgogi had a sweet flavor that I didn't like, but the jjigae that my friend had was delicious. Next time, you should order jjigae or something spicy.
