Really good fudge and ice cream (probably the best fudge I’ve had), great service and atmosphere, it’s probably my favorite shop to buy unhealthy things. Go now.

This is the only place I can find chocolates with raspberry mousse inside anymore. The by the pound options at the counter are fantastic, I can choose whatever I want so no more chocolate boxes with flavors at the end I don’t like!

We went here for dessert for our anniversary and I am so glad we did. We’ve loved every Kilwin’s shop we’ve been too, but this one, while small, carried so much of that old Ann Arbor charm. The inside was the most unique I’ve been too, and the little tables by the window allowed us to sit and watch the street and the rain while we enjoyed our ice cream. It was really lovely. The waffle cones and ice cream was wonderful here. The shop is divided into two, and next door we got some treats to bring home. The snapper probably could have used a touch more salt or roasting, but it was huge and very good. I am so glad we came here and would definitely go again.Dietary restrictions: This location shares surfaces with milk, wheat, and nuts.Parking: There is very limited street parking. We ended up having to go to a paid parking garage.Kid-friendliness: Not only did we bring our own baby, but we saw a number of other families come and go while we were there. The ice cream and chocolate treats are good for many ages.

Stayed in town for a week and stopped by Kilwins 2x. Oh was so good. Had a small Sunday the first time with super creamy ice cream and rich chocolate sauce. Second time had a blueberry single scoop cone. Delicious!

There is a reason this ice cream parlor has stood the test of time. Delicious and refreshing! It may look like there is a line (for good reason) but it's worth it! Thanks so much! :)

I tried the dulce de leche and it was amazing! Their ice cream is different than the norm; it's velvety and not rock hard. I would definitely come back here! The only downside is it's $6 for one scoop.

I recently visited Kilwin’s with my friend and their kids, and unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with the overall experience. The incident that left a sour taste in our mouths occurred when we encountered an extremely rude worker.First and foremost, it is important to note that customer service plays a significant role in shaping one's opinion of any establishment. Regrettably, this particular worker failed to meet even the basic standards of courtesy and professionalism. Rather than exhibiting empathy or understanding, the worker went so far as to label a crying baby as obnoxious. As patrons, we understand that public spaces can be noisy, and children, especially infants, may occasionally cry. It is essential for businesses, especially family-oriented ones like an ice cream shop, to create a welcoming environment for everyone, including families with young children. Unfortunately, this employee's behavior was far from accommodating and instead added to the already stressful situation. In addition to the disappointing behavior of the worker, it is worth noting that the incident overshadowed our overall experience at the ice cream shop. The negative encounter left us feeling unwelcome and diminished the enjoyment we had hoped to derive from our visit.Following this regrettable incident, we sought resolution by speaking with the owner. However, even the subsequent interaction left much to be desired. The apology we received felt half-hearted, lacking the sincerity and acknowledgement of the impact their employee's behavior had on our experience. The lack of professionalism demonstrated by the worker overshadowed their good ice cream, making it challenging for me to recommend this ice cream shop to others.I sincerely hope that the necessary steps will be taken to address these concerns and ensure that future patrons are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

Similar to many other reviews, after a TERRIBLE experience with an employee, I won’t be coming back. Upon making age appropriate noises, our baby + toddler (6 months &2 yrs old) were called loud and obnoxious in a very aggressive tone by an employee. If you have young children or toddlers, do not come here.

Their ice cream is overpriced at 6.00 a scoop. Also, they would not let me use their bathroom even though I was a paying customer. They told me to go to the Starbucks a block away. While I personally was physically able to walk to Starbucks, my bigger concern is that the restaurant may not be able to accommodate paying customers with disabilities who could not reasonably walk a block to use a restroom.

Flavors are decent but somehow 2 double scoop cups and a tiny scoop kids cup cost $21. So that is a bit out of hand in comparison to pretty much all the other places in town including Blank Slate.

My boyfriend and I like to stop in for a milkshake after a meal. It's super nice to walk around downtown with a delicious milkshake from here!
