Lab Cafe has a very cozy atmosphere and plenty of seating when I went on a Saturday morning. The food was nothing to write home about and the muffin I got felt overpriced.

Matcha latte was good, pricey and customer service average. Came 10 minutes before closing so that may be on me. May try again, would love to have recommendations and try something else.

Had such a lovely morning at Lab Cafe! The staff was super friendly and the menu had some really awesome options. I opted for a simple iced chai latte which was perfect, with a warm and flaky chocolate croissant. My partner ordered an iced lavender honey latte! Such a wonderful location for a date or just to do some reading alone. Definitely would visit again.

My first visit, I came in wondering about the shop and atmosphere nearby. Alyssa was kind enough to provide information to me about the surrounding places. She is very kind and friendly. I asked for recommendations for other related food and beverage places and she provided me a list. The drip coffee is counter culture and has been brewed to a good recipe that is enjoyable to taste. Outlets and seatings are provided if you're one to study or work remotely. Water station is in the back of the shop near the large windows. Wifi is free and good. Pastries can be purchased for those hungry or you can just walk next door to an asian resturant that has $11 lunch specials throughout the week. Restrooms are clean. The place can be a little noisy, although expected from a coffee shop near campus. I would not recommend taking a call inside for work, but calls are manageable. I recommend this coffee shop to anyone locally or coming in from out of town. The enviornment is friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: On the ground level, no need for ramp and inside floor is flushed with outside pavement

Very cute shop, clean bathroom, and great iced chai! If you’re in Ann Arbor, this is a great stop.

The matcha at Lab Cafe is phenomenal. It is so smooth and creamy, and they have many options for unique flavors - I tried orange blossom and it was quite sweet once mixed but delicious (I might ask for slightly less sweet in the future). Excited to return and try the lavender matcha. The mocha was okay, but not my favorite. Loved the glassware they serve in. The space is bright and clean. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and made drinks very promptly!

I feel bad not giving this a place a good review because the baristas were very nice, but unfortunately the coffee and pastries just are not it. I got the blackberry basil pound cake which wasn't terrible but wasn't great (and definitely wasn't t worth $5 plus change!!!), and then an oat matcha... the matcha was so bad that I actually traded it for an iced latte, and again the baristas were so so sweet and understanding about it, but unfortunately the iced latte was really bad too. All the ice had melted when they gave it to me so it was insanely water-y, and for a latte the drink was weirdly dark and strong... a latte by definition is supposed to be quite milk-y and the color is supposed to be quite light. My friend recommended this place so I really wanted to love it, but yeah definitely wasn't happy with what I got sadly :( sorry! The cafe was very cute though aesthetically and was a great place to get some work done, it was not too quiet but not too loud.

Love Lab! They have good variety of specialty coffees that are fun and delicious. I personally get either lavender latte or matcha latte, and it has a consistently good quality. This is also a great place to study with great vibes, but seats fill up fast!

The coffee here is good with an average price for downtown Ann Arbor. The staff are also friendly. The main attraction to this place are the vibes; great music (never too loud), lighting and decorations. Coming here puts me in the mood to write and get work done. The only reason I can only give 4/5 stars is because the internet is not great, probably because it's shared with Tomukun. Otherwise, one of the better cafés in AA.

Very cute coffee shop. It is very bright and has a lot of greenery. Their menu has some unique items. I got the brown sugar sea salt latte. It was the perfect balance of sweet with a little salty. The indoor seating is limited. They also have some outside seating.
