Eel bowl was great, great amount of meat and sauce! Awesome place to go with friends, always lots of seating and reasonable prices. Also a huge fan of the house deluxe lo mein!

Fine food. Took an hour to get it on a Sunday night when the place was half empty.

Best ramen ever. Their vegetable broth is waaay tastier than the beef broth. Secret recipe for the best noodle soup dinner for two you can get: tomato&egg soup with vegetable broth, add extra noodles, and meat of your choice (I always do the pork ribs). Fantastic!

5/10. If being mid is a restaurant, then it would be this place. Food is neither good or bad, price is neither expensive or cheap.

This was so delicious! We were walking by and decided to stop in and we are so glad we did! We had the Xinjiang chicken with rice, a Chinese pork burger, brown sugar boba, and dragon butterfly lemonade with added lychee jelly. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Great food and excellent staff! Left a water bottle here after lunch one day and the employees set it aside and even opened up a few minutes after they closed so I could retrieve it.

Very authentic menu and excellent food and service! May be my new go-to downtown Ann Arbor!

With so many other amazing Asian restaurants in the area, why go here? The food is consistently average and the menu has too many items from different cuisines - telltale sign that most of them will not be great(especially at this price point).

I've had three different dishes here now and they're all amazing. Wish the atmosphere was a little cozier, but I'm going to keep going back.

Their pork rib noodles are the best that I have had. The meat is so tender that you can just crunch down on the rib bones. The broth has so much flavor as

I finally got to try Lan City Noodle Bar! I knew they had a location in Ypsilanti but realized this Ann Arbor spot existed recently while driving back to Grand Rapids from Detroit. Nate and I stopped in and warmed up with some delicious noodles. The menu is pretty large and I wish we could've tried more things. I went with the signature sliced beef noodle soup, and Nate ordered the dan dan noodles. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. Our food was ready quickly and I was surprised at the massive portions. The soup broth was really clear but savory and delicious. There was a generous portion of sliced beef, which was a bit fatty but I loved it. I added some of the chili oil at the table which gave it a nice kick. The dan dan noodles were some of the best we've had - super savory with a bit of that tingly numbing spice while not being overpowering. The noodles in both dishes were the perfect texture. The only thing we were slightly disappointed about was the egg on the dan dan noodles - I was expecting a soft boiled egg but it was hard boiled. Still, it didn't detract from the overall dish and we'd definitely get it again. We also tried their milk tea boba, which was perfect. The space is large and had lots of seating. The playlist was great, service was quick and friendly, and the prices were pretty great - only $13 per dish for a lot of food! There's plenty of street parking around the restaurant as well as a parking garage nearby. I can't wait to come here again the next time I'm in town.
