I ordered a fish special and thought it was OK. It was a bit more like salmon than expected. My spouse's Thai Scallops (Logan Classic, Mashed Potatoes, Thai Coconut Milk Sauce) was FANTASTIC though. we would've thought to pair scallops with thai coconut milk? Flavors were great! The full portion came with 5 scallops.

We are so jazzed that Chef Thad has BOTH potato pave and gratin on the sides menu. The gratin was the OG potato side dish, with cheesy layers stacked with herbs and cream. The pave is a delicate, infinite, layering of potato sliced paper-thin, baked, sliced like bread from a loaf pan, then pan-fried. Every bite is crispy, savory and perfectly spiced.

I certainly like the dishes and service, excellent location next to my house. The employees are always super friendly. Will come back again.

One of the best fine dining dinners we've had in a long time!

Logan Restaurant, not to be confused with Logan's Roadhouse! Ha. We've passed by this small restaurant next to Frita Batidos probably a dozen times now and it didn't even cross our minds to stop in until we had friends visit us. BE SURE TO MAKE A RESERVATION! We got lucky because when we walked in around 6pm on a weekend, they told us there would be no seats available until 9pm. It is a small space & they don't rush you out. So, make reservations unless you want a quick drink/bite at the bar only! They were INCREDIBLY accommodating to food allergies/preferences. I ordered a fish special and thought it was OK. The full portion came with 5 scallops. I also really enjoyed the complimentary cheese & chive biscuits as well! We also sprang for dessert under the guise that they would be comped for forgetting our drinks, but they weren't - womp womp. I should've checked/said something. But, the chocolate mousse was really tasty! I'll be back for a couple of stand out dishes and other items that piqued my interest like the bone marrow, potatoe pave, etc.!

Small, intimate restaurant. Not too noisy, excellent service and amazing food. Definitely pricey, but worth it for a special occasion!

Delicious food and drinks. We had a special Valentines menu - it was a bit pricey, but still very good. We did not like the strawberry habanero tart at the end.

Excellent food and service. Pricey but every bit worth it. We had an outstanding dining experience.

There's no doubt it's one of the best restaurants in Ann Arbor.

My wife and I dined here during restaurant week and were blown away. The service was excellent but the food was even better. All of the dishes were very well thought out. We can't wait to come back!

The food was shot on and in spite of being quite busy the service was excellent. A bit pricy, but an overall great experience.

My last review is quite outdated and a lot has changed. Logan is still the choice pick/recommendation for dinner in Ann Arbor. The menu is always fantastic. My favorite of the new additions is the roasted bone marrow. Affectionately coined "meat butter" (thanks Ryan) with fried garlic, herbs and served with toasted bread thins. So flavorful and decedent. It's proper to share, but after the first bite, you won't want to. Just keep in mind, it's collagen and really good for your skin, with omega fatty acids. Might help you forgive the fat grams. I am glad the gnocchi is still a staple on the menu. Delicate but hearty, and always exceptional. The ragu changes but the dumpling does not. The Thai scallops are still my favorite, with ahi tuna as the runner up. The sauce that comes with the tuna is exceptional and completely mysterious to me. (they will tell you, but I like the mystery better) The petite portion offerings are dangerous. Still a good meal portion for anyone but the petite portions don't make you feel guilty for ordering two separate dishes when you just can't decide. There is so much more enjoyment and adventure in a meal when you trust the chef. Just don't forget the wine. We find great new wines to add to our wine rack each visit.

For a special occasion, a friend decided to treat me to somewhere new. Logan Restaurant was the surprise destination on a chilly December night. Immediately upon entering, we were warmed by the cozy environment. A hostess offered to hang up our coats and show us to our table, which was in the front of the restaurant but shielded from the front door by a partition. Not long after we were seated, our server came by the table to take our drink orders. We perused the menu while we waited for her to return, and everything sounded delicious. Once she returned with wine and scones, we asked her what she recommended. I was trying to decide between about 5 entree options, but finally went for the quail. We enjoyed the hot mini scones as we waited for the next course, feeling happy and cozy while we waited. The quail was quite good, served with some cheesy polenta and wilted spinach. The only thing that I found a little off about the dish was that the red wine reduction tasted more like barbecue sauce than anything else. At the ended we decided to forego dessert (even though the bread pudding sounded tempting) and wrap up the evening. As we approached the hostess stand, she turned and grabbed our coats without having to ask which ones we had -- very impressive! For a cozy night out with unique food in good company, add Logan Restaurant to your list of places to try!
