Just a great sandwich shop. I typically go with a Where’s Bo but I can say I have tried many others and they all are equally delicious. Family owned and operated, which means they care about quality, quantity, and service and you can surely tell.Store is filled with cool memorabilia and signatures of countless Univ of Michigan athletes. Parking can be tough with it being on the heart of campus so plan accordingly if trying to pick up an order.

I tried the side order of chicken salad, it was a half a cup of chicken salad for 9 dollars AND the chicken in it tasted like it was leftover, unsold dry chicken from days prior. We purchased 5 sandwiches, 4 of them were fine but one had literally two tablespoons of meat in the middle of it leaving the rest of the sandwich just sauce and lettuce, the initial presentation of the sandwich was deceiving and overall this sandwich was not worth 14 dollars. Honestly, none of them were. It's sad remembering how big, how great, and how much of a deal Maize & Blue sandwiches used to be... Now it just seems they're chugging along on nostalgia and profit.

Love the pickles here and love the reuben sandwiches even more, never had a bad reuben here. My only complaint is that I've tried the chicken salad twice and both times it was super dry and bland, not to mention it was 9 dollars for a tiny container. Stick to the sandwiches and fries for a good meal here.
Staff and owner are very down to earth. I have wanted to try this place ever since I saw the episode of man versus food. In that show Adam had the triple play which is number 44. So I went with that, and boy was that the right call. The quality of the meat and the blend of cheeses along with the friendly atmosphere make this a must stop if you are in the Ann Arbor area and like a good Reuben although they have many other sandwiches. Thank you for the experience!
I got the summer's delight and it is massive and phenomenal! Food came out in mere minutes. The sandwich itself wasn't at all oily. The lettuce and tomato complement the cheese, mayo and roast beef well. The pickle on the side hit a craving I didn't know I had!Edit: after finishing everything off, I got a cookie. It was perfectly crunchy yet gooey!
First time going here. The food is amazingly fresh and the place was very clean. Service was top notch.

My favorite place to go to in Ann Arbor. Their sandwiches are delicious. Everyone there is very very nice. They even gave out free delicious cookies for the holidays!
