Maizie's is a great study spot! I specifically love the sunroom in the front (the big grey chairs are SO comfy). The food is also great because there is so much variety. They have grab and go, a cafe, and local plate every day. Another plus is you can use you student blue bucks! Some workers are students as well which makes for an overall great environment to be in.
Loved just about everything about the place. It is on the top (4th) floor of the League right next door to Hill Auditorium on the UM campus. There is an elevator. In an older bldg, the price was right (180.00/night includ. tax) and included tea/coffee all day and a mini breakfast starting at 8PM. The breakfast was juice, yogurt and package bagels with cream cheese. Would really be nice to have a toaster. Some of the people here are great, but the coffee here and at all the other umich cafes is so mediocre. There was a really rude guy, I think he was the manager, who said an iced americano isn't a thing... Then proceeded to talk about how done he is with people after the person who ordered it walked away. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm also just genuinely tired of cafes that don't know anything about coffee.
