I used to really enjoy this place. Unfortunately one time I prepaid for my lunch with cash and some how they misplaced the money or something happened before cashing me out. The owner reluctantly gave me the lunch for free. Now everytime I come in I get treated like a criminal not great customer service.

A must go place for fresh seafood in the Kerrytown district. They have so many varieties and the staff is great. Daily specials too. And there is wine from a nearby shop too. Bring your friends and there's the choice of kerrytown so all are happy

We love Monaghan’s! We try to get our 4 yr old as involved as possible in understanding food and helping cook. She wanted to wait at the counter while they prepared our Black Bass and when I came back, she had made a friend and was learning about Makerel! Always great for a quick and high quality lunch too!

Great service, excellent vibe and superb fish & chips at the lunch counter. Went today after years of window shopping and occasionally buying fresh fish which is top notch as well. Fun spot and worth the hype.

Fish is really good!! I think that the fish and chips is good but they only give three pieces of fish when it used to be four. I like when it’s cooked without batter falling off and service is amazing.. I just wish fish always made the same. Fries good when not to hard

We went on a Sunday, when they sell seafood, but their kitchen is closed. I ordered the Lobster Bisque and a side of Basmati Rice. I combined them and had a delightful lobster chowder of my own making. Monahan’s had a nice selection of fresh seafood.
