Maybe owner has changed??The menu was different. We went there to get Yakitori because the menu on yelp had Yakitori. But, they didn't have. I ordered soba. But, that was Korean buckwheat noodle with hot mustard, not Japanese soba. Unfortunately, the server didn't understand our order well...

We came by on a stroll and were tempted by sushi burritos, but HOLY WOW. We got some delicious rolls, a great sushi burrito, and great beer to go. This is out second time in less than a week. It's great, and we just couldn't stay away. Please be mindful of constant vocalizations of enjoyment. It's a real risk. Also, we couldn't get pictures, because we couldn't wait to dive into our food. We got the Dragon Burrito, the Umi Burrito, the Zen and Princess rolls, and a couple of Asahi beer, and we were pleasantly stuffed. They were all delicious.

Fantastic. Truly the kindest and most wonderful staff. I don't like to go anywhere else for sushi because the food and the experience are great every time! To the manager Jay, thank you for being so incredibly kind and delightful. We can't wait to come back! If you haven't gone, I highly suggest it. I always love the food and so do my friends. I have been there a few times including the one in north campus. I am struggling with 3 stars or 4 stars since I had excellent food experience in north campus. They served excellent sushi rice which I am quite critical about. But recently the sushi rice is not right, it is harder. I hope they will do better.

I love sushi, and this is genuinely the best sushi I have ever eaten in my life. the owners were very polite, and despite the fact that we came in right before they closed, they were very understanding and very considerate. and again, this was the best sushi I've ever had, definitely give it a shot :)

Nagomi has made great strides in the past year to improve thanks to new management, so most of the old reviews don't apply anymore. The spicy salmon roll, unagi nigiri, avocado & salmon roll, the salmon obento, & the yellowtail with scallions are all good. Even the miso is better than most places in A2.

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this great place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a fantastic evening and the venue was surely one of the reasons for the strong gathering. The waiters collaborated in a gorgeous way, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were so glad. We shall surely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Some of the best quality raw sushi available downtown, they have ocassional Japanese domestic fish and wagyu available but you should call ahead to confirm. Been coming here for years through 3 ownerships and the quality has not diminished since I moved to Michigan. If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere and more modern music playlists to listen to while eating, I'd strongly reccomend nagomi to you!

Great place to eat in for lunch but had a bad pick up experience. Food was missing because they were out, nobody called to see if we wanted something else instead. Charged us for the whole order even though part was missing. I will be back but not for takeout.
