Fairly small place but when I went it wasn't very busy at all. Staff were pretty friendly, food was delicious and incredibly affordable and service was quick. Location is also easy to get to with sufficient parking. Looked fairly clean inside from what I could tell. I think this may become a regular lunch spot in Ann Arbor for me.Vegetarian options: Falafel or veggie as fillings as well as hummus, rice, salads, etc.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options as well .Parking: Lots of parking in main lot as well as next to Trader Joe'sWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk are low with entry onto sidewalk from handicap parking spaces. Lip to door is fairly level and interior has enough space to navigate, only area that may pose issues would be opening the front door.

Very friendly staff. Food came out quickly & to our table. My husband got a lamb & beef gyro & cajun fries combo. I got the chicken shawarma & cajun fries combo. I have not been able to find a good chicken shawarma since my favorite Mediterranean place closed during COVID-19 quarantine. This is the closest I've found to my all-time favorite chicken shawarma! I was in a huge rush and just stopped in here and ordered the gyro sandwich. It was so delicious. I lived in this area for 20 years and can’t believe I waited this long to eat there. After I finished it, I wanted to go back and get another one lol. Trust me the food is amazing.
If Star’s cafe in westgate didn’t exist, I’d probably give more stars, but unfortunately for pita king I have an excellent falafel sandwich to compare their’s to. Their falafel is dry. And I’m not surprised because I saw them put the falafel in the microwave to warm it up, and that wasn’t the only thing they were using the microwave to cook. I recommend just driving the 10 minutes to Star’s at westgate if you’re looking for a good, fresh, flavorful falafel sandwich. The people at pita king were very friendly and service was fast. The atmosphere was pretty sad, and the bathroom was dirty.

Ordered a chicken shawarma, fattoush salad and a small hummus. The hummus is good but was a little too salty. The chicken on the other hand was quite bland and lacked flavor like normal chicken shawarma meat. The salad was great and the service was even better.
