Takeout order through the seoulgardentogo - the system time quoted from (QMENU) for pickup and actual ready time was off by 20-25 minutes. Specialty Food - Monkfish was interesting and worth a try. Sushi was mediocre. Soups were ok

Service pros: friendly and professional servers Service cons: takes very long between time you sit down to ordering to receiving food and getting bill after you eat. Even before Covid the pace was very slow. Food pros: food is hot and has generous portions with a variety of pickles on the side. Flavor was good. Food cons: They cheap out on quantity of meat in your dishes. We ordered 1) Bibimbap Dolsot with beef and 2) Spicy beef soup. Each had barely an ounce of thin long slivers of beef! We were searching for the meat. The spicy beef soup had slivers of pork mixed into the slivers of beef (pork cheaper substitute for beef?) Summary: Unethical for them to put (substitute) pork in a beef dish without disclosing it on menu or by server. Does not apply to us but there are some people who do not eat pork for religious reasons. We will go to another Korean restaurant that is not such a cheapskate on the meat portions. This place was busy late afternoon on Sunday around 2:30pm. 1/3 of the tables were full. There were massive amounts of take out orders sitting in the lobby and we saw more exiting the kitchen. So they are not hurting for business - thankfully I don't have the pressure to be kind due to Covid and can be truly honest.

Delicious food, but so slow. I called in an order at 3pm and showed up at 4:10pm. They were still making it! This happens a lot here. If the food wasn't so good, I wouldn't keep coming back

Pretty disappointed with the food offering. The food was not good at all, not even close to justifiable to the high price. Was very disappointed with the food service - not very well done yet requiring 20% tip. Would not be recommending this.

The korean BBQ is not cheap but a first great date idea!

So disappointing. I understand restaurants are under pressure but that’s why we decided to eat out and support a local restaurant. We ordered ~$100 for 3 people. First issue was no banchan. They added it to our order after we questioned it explaining that we should have called in vs ordering on line (we used the link on their web page to order so why would that be different from calling?). We got home and then found out they’d left out the 10 pc Korean fried chicken we’d ordered. We called back and had a big run around. They told us we could request refund from online ordering service (again we used their link on THEIR website). I had to go back to get the chicken as there was no refund. The lady at the front was surprised I came back (it was the principal of it). Quite the hassle. Not worth coming back - lots of other Korean options in Ann Arbor much better than this.

I really wanted to like this place since it was so close to my work. But unfortunately my order was ready 20 minutes past the scheduled pick up time because it was made incorrectly the first time...and it was still incorrect even after they fixed it.I got the tteokbokki and bulgogi bento. Both were very bland and disappointing. I will say the dumplings were great though. I gave two stars because the staff were kind and I haven’t had the chance to try their cocktails and bbq. But the food (except the dumplings) has disappointed me greatly. We’ll give it another chance when dine-in is available...everyone has bad days and unfortunately today was theirs. :(

I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered a Katsu Don and the chicken wing appetizer, ended up with plain Pork Katsu instead. I know it's hammered out pork but even by those standards it was incredible thin, causing it to dry out in the fryer. It came with a side of cabbage, 3 pieces of broccoli, and a 12oz cup of white rice....how is that worth $18? No soup, no salad, no soy sauce. It's a rip off! The wings portion was better but they seemed like they had been sitting out awhile based on the temperature. They seem to either work slow or are understaffed. Took them about 15 -20 minutes longer than I was told for it to be ready, which doesn't bother me, but it doesn't seem like we're making my food with that time since it wasn't very hot. The person that was in the lobby when I came in got his food at the same time and made a comment about the length of time being unacceptable, so I know I'm not the only one. I honestly could've gone to Panda Express and B-Dubs instead and it would've been cheaper and faster. It's fine to be backed up if you're busy but make the food worth the wait and worth the price!!! I do not recommend. I don't see this restaurant making it out of COVID... They get 2 stars because I'm generous and they definitely use real meat unlike some other questionable place that use glued together bits and weird cuts.

My husband retired yesterday and we wanted to celebrate with a dinner from Seoul Garden. We ordered a spicy chicken and shrimp stir fry, a roll of Firecracker sushi, and a seaweed salad. We even sat at home to have it delivered via Uber Eats. It was absolutely delicious! The only thing that I would not order again was the seaweed salad as it was a very small portion. Will def order again!!

This is THE spot in Oakland county for great Korean food or bbq or bubble tea! I don't have any suggestions for improvement. I wish I could give them another star!!

I love this place so much. I usually get sundubu spicy tofu soup) and jeyukbokeum (spicy pork) combo but ive had lots of other menu items and they are all good. Im not korean but i lived there for three years and seoul gardens food is as good as anywhere i had in Korea. Food is tasty. Service is wonderful. Every time i come here i feel so happy.

Until yesterday, this was one of my favorite places for Korean food. My family and I have been customers here since they opened many years ago. I'm not sure if they were just having an off night last night but the experience definitely wasn't good. I ordered via their online ordering system around 5 pm for a 6:30 pick-up. The bill was $100 for three people, much higher than I remember them being in the past. We got to the restaurant at 6:35 pm, they said the order wasn't ready and come back in ten minutes, fine. We came back, got the food and left. The person at the front was very apologetic and nice. When we got home I realized they had left an item out. I decided it wasn't a huge deal I would just call them after dinner and ask for a refund. As we started to opened the containers I realized one of the items was made completely wrong. I ordered tofu bibimbap and asked them to add the egg, which doesn't come with their tofu version normally. But what I got was lettuce, zucchini, and shredded carrots with a nearly raw egg on top. No rice, no tofu.So that was all fine, I just cooked at egg and stole some rice from another dish, no big deal. I was willing to let that all go. Then I called them to ask about the refund for the missing item, $9 spicy rice cakes, the person on the phone put me on hold, came back and said "yeah...we don't give refunds". She told me I could drive back and pick up my missing item. I asked again to make sure I heard correctly, she confirmed, they don't ever give refunds, even if it's 100% their mistake.Couldn't even be blamed on a third party service. We got food from here a few months ago and it was SO good, so not sure what is happening over there. I'm willing to try one more time, but will probably take my business to Hana or Macheko in Ypsilanti.
