This cake was every bit as delicious as it was beautiful! I can not recommend Sweet Heather Anne enough! Planning a wedding cake with SHA is an experience on its own. Because we were planning our wedding 3 states away, they were extremely communicative as to timing of everything and flexible on when to meet. The tasting and design experience was so cute and it made us feel so special. This was the second cake tasting we had done but it was definitely the best. We got a small mini cake (like 2 inches in diameter I think) of 4 flavors (different cakes and filling). We tried each one, talked about what we liked in each flavor, and then got to see what their full list of flavors are. We then got to talk directly to their designer about what we wanted on our cake. We pulled up samples, explained what we liked and didn’t like, and was able to talk it out on serving sizes too. SHA was incredibly helpful for two very indecisive bride/groom! We hadn’t had our tasting yet for the wedding, and wanted to keep everything on hold until we did so that we could make a final decision after. And they were not pushy at all. They emailed us everything we needed to make an informed decision, and when it was time to proceed, they continued to be super professional and responsive.PS everyone raved about the cake and the dessert table! Would definitely recommend!

We used sweet heather anne for our wedding cake in the fall of 2023. The process to create our perfect cake was so easy and one of the most fun part of the process! When we chose our flavors they had a super cute setup for us at their shop in Ann Arbor with little mini cakes to try based on the flavors we preferred and even had mini cakes for us to take home! They hand drew the cake right in front of us which was unexpected and so much fun to work through with their cake designer. From there they got to work and had everything set and ready to go for us on the wedding day. They even have an option to save the top tier or they will make you a new cake for your first anniversary. We opted for the new cake :) It was a pleasure working with them and we would recommend!

Sweet Heather Anne is actually the some of the most delicious wedding cake you will ever eat! And (more importantly to brides), they were so easy to work with from our first meeting. We met and they sketched the design for our cake, then got to taste 4 flavors, and we had thorough communication throughout the planning process to make the big day stress free. We ended up having less guests last minute and they were able to work with our changes in the week or two before the wedding. They independently talked with my vendor and florist to make it a smooth process. We had chocolate salted caramel and lemon raspberry... would recommend!

I took the $150 cake decoration class. I was very disappointed in it. I’m left handed & the instructor couldn’t show me how to properly make the flowers. When eating the finished cake I felt the cake was very bland. The cake was a lemon flavor but a very faint lemon taste & quite dry. The buttercream was again bland and not very sweet. I served it to guests and we all came to the same conclusion. I would not recommend this class.

I wish I could give Sweet Heather Anne way more than five stars! For my birthday this year, I ordered a cake from them during their summer sale, and my family and I love it so much! My dad actually said "this is the most perfect cake I've ever had." I chose their chocolate cake/pistachio buttercream option, and it is absolutely delightful. The chocolate cake is perfectly moist, and the perfect amount of decadence so that it is never too much. The pistachio buttercream and the outer buttercream of the cake are both excellent - light, airy, and never too sweet. I can really taste the freshness of the pistachios in the pistachio buttercream! I've also never had a cake that cuts as wonderfully as this one does - I used a butter knife and it slid through the cake like butter and made picture perfect slices. The online order process for this cake was quick and easy, and my cake was ready on time. Furthermore, their cake shop is super fun to visit and all the staff are exceptionally kind. Look no further for all of your cake needs - my family will definitely be coming back! Thank you Sweet Heather Anne!

Everyone loved our wedding cake and dessert table! The cake was absolutely beautiful and we got several compliments. They also put my cats on the cake and truly captured their personalities. The cake and desserts also taste great. You can’t go wrong. Heather was also a pleasure to work with. She’s super sweet and organized!
Me and my fiancée had flown in for a couple days to take care of some wedding things for our wedding next year. They don’t do tasting appointments on Fridays so we decided to do a take home tasting they offer. We came in on the Friday to pick it up and was told by a worker they didn’t think they had any take home tastings today which I showed the email they sent confirming we scheduled a tasting pickup between 10 and 4. While they didn’t explicitly say they gave our tasting to someone else, the explanation we received was someone who was supposed to have an appointment on Saturday came in early and now they had an opening for Saturday now so we guess maybe they got ours, regardless they didn’t have the tasting we ordered. They did offer to make a take home for Saturday if we came back that day, but after leaving and discussing we decided we had lost some trust in them and should go else where. I gave them a 2 star because at least they were willing to refund my 50 dollar deposit.

everyone here are gifted artists! The beauty they create from frosting is mind-boggling! I had a beautiful cake made for my granddaughters Grad party. It was so beautiful it served as a center piece for awhile! The taste was fabulous as well!
