Glad this bar is reopened as the cellar wine bar. Our bar tender was absolutely awesome and so were our drinks. Nice quiet atmosphere and all the grizzly peak beers are served here as well.

Great interior design; good prices; build your own charcuterie (huge game changer); rotating menu

Wow- nice work all! So comfortable and low key. Not pretentious and love me some charcuterie- you all nailed it

COREY!! Thank you! Hopefully I spelt your name correctly! Thank you for your wonderful service man! I appreciate you!The food was dank! Atmosphere was top notch! Beer was AWESOME! I would recommend this place to any and all! Some of my family is in town for the show tonight at the Blind Pig! We got lunch here! Glad we did too because everywhere else was packed! They were so happy to have us.I got a pizza with my mom and it was so good. It was the garlic + onion and the cheese on it was WILD. My brother in law got the Walleye, sister got the Butter Milk Chicken, and her friend got the Tree Town Cob! 10 out of 10! Would recommend.Thank you for the wonderful food and service!!

Really love coming here. Great craft brews for a lot less than you'd think. Staff is very attentive and willing to help when people are looking to step out of their comfort zone booze wise.

Lovely, rustic beer cellar in a genuinely old basement. Often serving fresh Kellerbier straight from the tank.

Ok, out of the gate I have to say this place has the best cheese curds I've ever put in my dirty mouth. They're so good I'll probably file a lawsuit demanding the recipe Monday morning.Overall I was pleasantly surprised as most breweries just serve food to be serving food but this place did not disappoint. The ribs were very good and the short rib mac and cheese was excellent!Oh yeah, and the beer, great stuff also :-) I had the steelhead red.

Polenta Fries-Excellent,freshly cooked and crispy.Tacos excellent.Chicken sandwich -Huge looked good.Turkey Reuben- Tiny , hardly any TurkeyUpgraded to fries, they came luke warm, and chewy...obviously been left standing for a loooong time...inedible...not good.

Fun time for karaoke with friends. Typical college crowd so the place does get busy during Tuesday’s-Saturday’s. The only downfall is that you have to make sure you are getting half off drinks during happy hour. I have been charged full price for happy hour drinks in the past.

Nice bar. Reasonably quiet when we arrived at 9:00 on Friday night. Got busier and louder by 10. Excellent beer and drinks. We had a couple items from the menu to share. The schnitzel sliders on pretzel buns we very tasty. The potato skins were good, but not great...not so much flavor. Overall a good place to sit, have a drink and just hang for a while.

I was very pleased by the beer selection here - great for those who love good beers or are looking for something different from the usual bar selections. The food menu is limited to appetizers, but what we tried, we liked. The soft pretzels were divine, and the sauerkraut & potato croquettes were something out of the ordinary but quite delicious. (Plus we caught their happy hour on Thursday, so food was half off and drafts were $2 off! Score!)

Old German is an incredible place to grab a hand craft beer with friends or by oneself. The bar is large and the seating area has an old world, modern hole in the wall vibe. It is always incredibly clean and friendly. The head bartender, Chelsea, is the best in town. Craft beer with perfectly mixed cocktails alongside great food...no better place in Ann Arbor ❤️

Great Atmosphere, Excellent BeerThis bar is a hole in the wall off the main drag in Ann Arbor. They have a delicious selection of craft beer and like many bars in Ann Arbor, good food as well. My German-obsessed friend even got a mug membership there she loved it so much. Roomy despite the narrow main entrance with heavy wood decor. In my experience it stays consistently busy without being disturbingly loud. With other bars nearby it is a common point on our impromptu pub crawls. As for parking, structures nearby are probably you best bet as with anything downtown.

Really nice place, great beer and nice staff. They have an awesome one liter glass!!!

I always love the beer here. Proper beer steins, up to liter pours. Plenty of excellent German and otherwise European styles to choose from, and similarly themed food of very agreeable quality. The service is always great too.
