I was a little disappointed that our latte did not come with the expected decoration, ingresar it was just plain foam, but the taste was really good tho. I think it depends on the barista. The fruit tart was good too. And they play French music which make it a really nice ambience. Cozy and nice interior.

This is my second time visiting Cannelle The first time was when the place opened. I don't remember what I ordered that time. But this time I ordered 2x lemon tarts with my grandmother. And some licorice ,clove tasting sponge cake. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the bite ..My granny loved all of it. I have to say, I had the Best dirty chai, that I've ever sipped. The nice worker, made it so delectable...Her and the other staff member were welcoming..But there was an employee with darker hair, and a scarf on. She seemed as if she might have been the boss. The other two, were busy, and she was ringing up people. My grandmother and I were looking at the delightful pastries. I could see her watching us. Her side eye seemed quite judgeful to me. And we came in a couple hours before closing. Me being observant. It finally took a second to realize the store was actually closing. They were nice about it. Bon appetit,.Another thing. My grandmother. Has a walker. It's not that big. If you're looking to get around comfortably- with a walker with wheels. Good luck, some of the consumers, / customers, did not want to scoot over. Just 1 inch. Nobody's gordo. So it wasn't like we were taking up the whole store.Wheelchair accessibility: The person I was with is not in a wheelchair. However the Walker has wheels on it and it was not that easy for her to get around in the store

Beautiful little french style cafe in Downtown Ann Arbor. Coffee was excellent and the almond croissant is to die for. I'll definitely be making a trip back to Ann Arbor just for these!

When I tell you that this patisserie is absolutely incredible, I 100% mean it. The ambiance when entering is so calming and inviting. The staff members were so kind, and patient as we just soaked everything in and finally decided on what we wanted to order! We even went back about 2 hours later to get more to bring back up north with us! In total we ordered 2 bacon gruyère croissants, a regular croissant, 2 eclairs, a fraiser, tiramisu and a pistachio raspberry tarte (my fave). As well as two lattes! Every single item was packed with flavor, you could taste everything, which is what you want! No flavor overpowered the other, everything was perfectly balanced. My daughter kept saying how perfect her croissant was. My mom text me after she got home that she wishes she would have ordered a dozen more eclairs. We cannot wait to go back & really hope that the owners decide to grace the TC area with a location in the future! Thank you so much for sharing your delicious treats with the world!

Stopped in and got a cannelle, figuring it would be good if that was the name of the shop, but I did not like it. The texture was weird and it was way too sweet. It also left a weird residue on my teeth, no idea what it is...

C’est bon! We ran out of time in Detroit to visit the original, and stopped here on the way back west. Wow! So many delicious options, plus they can make tea lattes, which I love!

One of my top picks for pastries in Washtenaw county! ? (And believe me, your Glushy girl gas explored quite a bit.) The ambience is fantastic, giving off genuine European cafe vibes. It's a little slice of Italy or France right in Ann Arbor! Unfortunately I'm currently Glushy grounded until summer for breaking curfew (THANKS MOM) and can't go to Europe, but Cannelle always satisfies my craving for a classic cafe experience. The only downside is it can get crowded during peak hours, and the line system isn't always clear.Kid-friendliness: Can be a little crowded for kids.

This place has an amazing assortment of desserts and pastries. It is pretty hard to choose without already inclining certain types of sweets or treats. I only got something to go so it's hard to reference the service. The place seems generally busy and crowded but that's to be expected near a village campus.

Cannelle has very good croissants and pains au chocolat. Possibly the best in town. Their sourdough breads are also quite good, though I still prefer those from White Lotus, especially for their crusts. The espresso and cappuccino are good, but Hyperion and Comet Coffee are better. The servers are very professional. They are quite capable of dealing with multiple customers, and customers interrupting others. Your food and drinks are brought out to you with a touch of ceremony. I put 3 stars for atmosphere because every time I have been there it seems a tad gloomy. Maybe it's been the gray weather we are having, but I don't get that feeling in other cafés or coffee shops around Ann Arbor.
