Yum! Delicious! Ate at Old Siam last week. Never disappointed! Family owned and run with fresh flavorful food and the tastiest tea! Tiger Cry, Chicken Satay and Chicken Green Curry! Mmmm!

We ordered take out last night and it was so disappointing. Portions were "lunch special" sized. The panang curry didn't have any sauce. The tofu was rock hard (?!) and the vegetables tasted like they'd been cooking all day on the stove and all the sauce cooked off - shockingly salty. The green curry was inedible - awful. The tom ka soup was good, but only came with 2 small pieces of tofu. We have a friend who has been raving about this place - my guess is that she hasn't been in a long time. It's awful.

Best pad thai I have ever had in the states (so far - and I've tried a lot!)Weird hours though. I suppose they can work whenever they want when they have the best Ann Arbor has to offer though!

There is a reason this restaurant has a 3.8 star rating. The food simply is not very good. Greasy rolls, oily curry. I wish it was great because we live nearby, but unfortunately it simply is not.

N1. Pad Thai extremely charred, burnt. When I called the restaurant to inquire, the server/host said they would make a new one for me and I bring back this original. I brought it back and I showed the host. He was extremely rude. He said the pad thai is known to have that wok smell and if I had been to Thailand, I would know that. He then called another customer over and said “Mr. X has been to Thailand so he knows” totally embarrassing me. Mr. X later tells me he has only stopped in Thailand for three days on a business trip. I tried to go back inside to talk to the host very politely after the guests left and he totally dismissed me saying “these covid times NO ONE does this” I am truly shocked, feeling disrespected and will obviously never recommend this establishment to anyone.

The rudest customer service I've ever encountered. I will never go back, nor recommend it to anyone. Food was oily and too charred to eat. When I politely asked the host about this, he said "if you had gone to Thailand, you would know that the wok smell is authentic." I would have paid for a re-do, but after that I just wanted a refund. His response embarrassed me and totally dismissed the fact that the pad thai was actually inedible.

Food is sublime. Even though they have limited their hours, we are lucky to have them.

Oh the dishes are so authentic Thai, something really hard to find in Michigan, and very unpretentious as well. Ordered the Drunken Noodles and Super Pad Thai, both very good. They've been here at the same location for more than 40 years. Will definitely frequent for more enjoyment! Right now they offer takeout only, so no idea about the service level, but I bet the owner is very proud of this restaurant.

Must be one of the top Thai restaurants in the nation. Compares very favorably with anything I've had in Thailand or elsewhere.

This is a top Thai restaurant nationally and certainly worth a trip from anywhere in driving distance for lovers of Thai cuisine. They are making dishes way beyond the typical pad thai and doing it at an extremely high level. The entrees in the Tup Tim dinner are especially highlights.

I ordered carry out. Counter guy was abrupt, no mask, no smile. I ordered two Siam spring rolls. They were dripping, I mean, dripping in oil. Overly fried, still tasty, but greasy as all get out!

I ordered shrimp pad see ew (pescatarian here) and there were only 3 shrimp. Also, it came with pad Thai noodles rather than the traditional thick pad see ew noodles.

Skip the soups! The green curry is dilute but spicy. The bamboo and chicken stir fry is delicious but the quantity is small for the price. All the ingredients were fresh. I would stick with take out than dine in.
