Excellent bar service and delicious drinks. Although we didn't try any food, the menu seemed appetizing. Prices are also reasonable. I want to go back to try the tator tots and pretzels.

If it's got pretzel in the name it better be one good pretzel - they are! Nice service and solid food. Will return next time in Ann Arbor.

Pretzel Bell is an old-time restaurant right on Main Street in A2. I give this restaurant 3 stars, but for friendly service and atmosphere they are definitely 5 stars. This iconic restaurant has one of the best atmospheres of any restaurant in the city. Tables with carvings from over the years and private booths are part of the charm. Employees are definitely trained well in the area of customer service. I ordered the chopped Greek salad and it was fabulous. On the down side, I added chicken, for an extra charge, and it was dry as could be and tough to even cut. Prices are higher than nearby comparable restaurants. Charging $4 for a Diet Coke is a bit too much. Also, the bill comes with a 3% surcharge for no reason at all. This is disingenuous. Prices should be reflected on the menu. No mention of the surcharge until the check arrives and no reason given for extra fee. For this reason I give 3 stars and suggest other sport bars that are within easy walking distance of the P Bell.

Our server was not friendly. Her attitude was poor. She clearly didn’t care about our experience. The steak that was ordered was over cooked. The food wasn’t pleasant. The Mahi Mahi was bland. I didn’t eat most of it. I took it home to give to my dogs. Overpriced and under delivered. I wouldn’t recommend.

Food was fine, once we received our correct order. The first drink we ordered was terrible and also took forever to make, despite not being very busy.

Worst steak I've ever eaten. And it was $62. No wonder why they don't post the prices on their menu on their website. I feel duped. Unreal. Should have been the best steak of my life. They're cheaper in Vegas.

Server was nice and the place is beautiful and super cool booths with lots of space, food was alright but not worth the price. All 4 sets of our silverware was dirty, we asked for milk for our kids 3-4 times still never received it. Once we got the food & the bill came right behind which made us feel rushed. Then we looked at the bill and we were over charged they did take $5 off once we mentioned it but like for the prices of everything there we were NOT satisfied and probably won't return. I wish it would have been worth the $110Kid-friendliness: If you don't want drinks for your kids you'll like it

I got the grain bowl and a pretzel. Both were very good. The pretzel is sweeter than average. The grain bowl was quite good. A smaller menu than normal. They only had one soup option. The service was amazing. The restaurant was nice
We went for an early Valentine's date and I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to try this place out! The bread at the beginning of the meal was a little dry and oddly paired with a sweet butter, but then we ordered a pretzel and the cheese sauce it came with was some of the best I've ever had. Then came the French Dip and sweet potato fries. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The waiter informed me that they had made some recipe changes and instead of caramelized onions and garlic aoili it is now served with fried onions and horseradish sauce. Whoever made those changes deserves a raise. Granted I've never tried the previous version of this sandwich, but it's current iteration is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. I'm not sure if I'll ever enjoy another French dip again. And the sweet potatoes fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside, but so soft and sweet inside. I will absolutely be back... And soon!

12-21-2023 Came w/ sons and gf before an Ark show. Super convenient. Our server, Edward, was friendly and efficient. Decent ambiance and the food was good, with the french dip and baked pretzel as stand outs. Our grilled cajun salmon was a bit disappointing, overcooked and not very cajun
