The bread was burnt. The Palmier was not flaky, it was hard instead. I believe the ingredients are the same as before, they hired a bunch of bakers who are not trained so everything is off. Baking is very exact and precise, they just hired young people who have no experience to ruin their products!Saving on payroll also means losing customers, ouch. The profit margin is never high enough for you!

The price is way too high for what you get. It's actually outrageous what someone has to pay - for example, a 4" square of olive focacia bread cost $4.50 - a dollar plus for each 1"x 4" strip of bread!Parking: Very narrow, lots of traffic.

Gluten-Free Delight at Zingerman’s Bakehouse"I recently visited Zingerman’s Bakehouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The gluten-free bread they offer is a game-changer – located in the refrigerated section, it stands out as one of the best I've ever tasted.Despite the long line, just a few days before Christmas, the wait proved worthwhile. The anticipation builds, but the moment you sink your teeth into their gluten-free bread, the flavors speak for themselves. It's evident why people are willing to queue up, especially during this festive season. While parking is abundant, be prepared for a brief wait to get in, especially around the holidays. On ordinary days, the lack of a line makes for a more convenient experience.Zingerman’s Bakehouse has truly mastered the art of gluten-free baking, making it a must-visit spot in Ann Arbor. Whether you're a local or just passing through, don't miss the chance to savor their exceptional gluten-free bread – it's an experience that lingers long after the last bite.Kid-friendliness: This place is a peanut free zone.
I came here for challah bread.. I don't think you guys know what it is. This tasted like sour dough. Nothing like challah bread at all.

Amazing delivered bread. Sour dough and farm bread is closest I can find close to the bread in Europe. By that I mean real bread. Will buy again.

1st and foremost ****John*****is an amazing associate! This strip mall of Zingerman’s across the way from Pittsfield Township Costco is phenomenal. They have several shops available with everything from fresh roasted and brewed Coffee to a wide variety of imported and freshly made Candy. Not to mention dairy, all kinds of locally made and US made cheeses, & platters, and all the accompaniments. The there’s the BAKERY with every sweet known to man INCLUDING scones, cinnamoN rolls, pies, cakes, breads, sliced OR unsliced whatever you prefer. Bagels, Pasties. (an Upper Peninsula delicious meat pie). Sandwiches, salads, fruit and nut breads. You really can’t beat the service. You can ask for suggestions and the team there is always very helpful. John was a delight. We had a great conversation and of course he asked about Austin when he found out that’s where I was from. I told him at 1 million people it’s not the same Austin we moved to 30 years ago!!!Thankfully some things don’t change and Zingermans maintains the highest quality in everything they offer! We love this company and the area where it’s located-of course if you are in A2 proper the restaurant also offers all the products available out here too!Check it out if you are near or far as their online catalog may be calling your name!!!!
