The custard soft serve they have is by far my favorite but there really is something for everyone. I’d much rather spend a little more at a local friendly business like this than head up to Dairy Queen. It’s within walking distance of the park and makes for a great family outing on a nice day.”

The owner served us a few samples of the craft beers then made us a great bloody Mary then ordered a deep dish pizza and it was 1 of the best I've had in a long time. “We stopped in this local tavern to grab a bite while we were vacationing in Port Sanilac for the Thanksgiving holiday. We needed a bite to eat the day before 'Turkey Day'. The food (especially the fried mushrooms) was pretty darn good. The prices were very reasonable. The service was superb. The atmosphere was pretty cool. The other patrons there were fun to chat with. This place is what every town and neighborhood needs. Just remember to ask for ketchup when ordering fries.”

It was a refreshing blend of flavors that perfectly complemented my meal. And speaking of the meal, it was simply outstanding! “Came to visit Lexington on the weekend and my friend suggested coming here. She and her husband love coming here and we thought, why not?She recommended the blue gill fish taco and magic dragon. After much deliberation, I have to say the magic dragon had a slight edge. It is a spicer choice that's packed with flavour. I got the chicken to pair with the magic dragon. For a crunchier profile, I suggest trying their puffy shell. There is no extra cost to this!The blue gill was also delicious. It has a creamier flavour with a solid piece of real fish in the middle. This was definitely made in-house as you can distinctly tell that there is skin on the fish!I highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area!”

“In my opinion, Windjammers is the best restaurant within 50 miles of Port Huron. Food, service, and atmosphere are all perfect. The live music on the weekends is the best. Acoustic guitar and vocals is perfect for a couple's date night. Not so quiet as to be boring but not so loud that you can't hold conversation. Be sure to order the baked potato, best side they have. Be sure to make a reservation if you plan to go on the weekend.Parking: Parking is free but can be a little tough during weekend dinner time.”
