“My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance of the downtown Auburn Hills area, lots of people around. I appreciate they have a patio here, but we opted to sit inside to avoid the heat on the evening we went.I love the concept- wines from wineries around Michigan that usually we wouldn't even know about. Maybe they're way up north or wherever, but this place brings it right to the neighborhoods of Metro Detroit so you can try a few to see what you like. The flights were bit pricey, 3 of $16, but the pours were generous. I actually would've preferred half-pours if I could've tried three more instead for that price.I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but my wife and I each ordered 3 different wines in our flights, so we could actually both try 6. Therefore, we went with 6 dry reds, because that's what she drinks. I liked a few of them.I'd definitely return to try some more. A good date night. This is the second location we've tried, Shelby Township being the other.“

“One of my favorite restaurants!! I've come here with my family twice for my mom's birthday and for my birthday, and it was amazing both times. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation though, they are super busy! The first time we visited I got one of the flatbreads which was amazing. This time I got the gnocchi and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning at least once every season to try out their new menu! My family doesn't drink but I got one of their seasonal mocktails and it was perfect, not too sweet! Our waitress was so nice as well.“

“It’s a great pizza most of the time, though the quality can suffer a bit if they are super busy. I also wonder if they are losing out by not being open earlier during football season. They are so close and convenient for me, but they are closed when the games starts, so like a lot of people that like a pie for the game, we go elsewhere.“

“I have never had a bad meal at Capital Grille. Food, service and ambiance is always 5/5 here. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, they have a dress code but that is what makes it special. The care they go to to make sure you have an exceptional dining experience puts them above most other restaurants. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they usually have multiple daily specials. Aside from dinner we have been here for Easter and Mother's Day brunch as well. I highly recommend the lonster frittata if you come for brunch, it is excellent. You can't go wrong with their scallops or any cut of steak here. If you enjoy cocktails, they make the best espresso martini around.“

“Honestly this is the BEST date night spot. The food is amazing. It not only tastes delicious but the presentation is delightful. The staff are wonderful. Rarely do you find a crew that love their jobs and are happy to be there. The crafted cocktails are yummy & they even make up some “originals”. It’s really hard to narrow down my favorites but a few are her Crêpes, and Cedar Planked Salmon. She has certain specials that are not always on the menu, but when they are, I always go because I don’t want to miss it. In the summer, her gazpacho soup. Most recently their Pork Tenderloin with Spatzel & homemade cream sauce. ? And for dessert, her homemade Keylime pie. Wow! Wow! Wow!“

“Really nice wine list, and couple that with the cheese plate and it's a wonderful start to a relaxing evening. Melanie was our server, and was attentive and fun. The lamb ragu, if you like pasta dishes, is a hit. The dessert choices are not extensive, but then again, the restaurant is not massive in size. I'd rather the volume of choices to be part of the entrees, and not at the finish, when I'm already full!“

“A thousand things have been in the location, but this one is here to stay. The patio is breathtaking & the wine seems like something collected by a person that is excited & extremely knowledgeable. But, alas is the wonderful staff (headed by a lovely woman whose name I forgot) that give the place soul…they just seem happy to be there & that makes the whole place feel like a great cocktail party with fun, interesting people. I have been here for a dance night & a wedding & it’s amazing how malleable the space is!! Lastly, there is no describing the view on the patio…you must see it for yourself!“

“Had the chance to dine at Sylvan Table for the first time, and without trying to sound hyperbolic, it was absolutely one of the best meals I'd ever had.The restaurant is located in quiet Sylvan Lake. It's a genuine farm to table concept restaurant with frequently updated menus based on what ingredients are available season to season. The building itself is a large wooden barn with multi level dining and the high ceilings, exposed wooden interior and multiple fireplaces gave it a warm, rustic and yet modern atmosphere. The service was exceptional, including a server taking drink orders while we were waiting for our reservation and the incredibly attentive table service that never felt intrusive. The food is absolutely extraordinary. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavors including surprises like the notes orange in our soaked olives. Our entrees and sharables were no different, each a wonderfully complex blend of complimentary tastes and textures, the enjoyment of which we expressed audibly with almost every bite.Reservations are highly recommended and we'll be eagerly waiting for an excuse to back.Parking: Parking is adjacent to the building and there are more than enough spots to accommodate guests“
