Their wines are outstanding - something for everyone. Plus they are a Brew Pub & a Distillery too, so they have it all. The Divine Vodka is the best, it's the original grape ? vodka, Puff Daddy copied them. The vibe is perfect no matter what season, cabana rental, area for bags, picnic tables, kid friendly but dress for the season. Wine slushies, live music, beautiful vineyard, a walking trail to Tabor Hill and of course Dog ? friendly! Can't recommend enough. Love this place ❣️

Atmosphere for a winery great! The wine it’s self not so much. The live music they have tho was amazing. Great place for a group they have a wider selection of beverages besides just wine.

Round barn needs to change their name to "rectangle shipping container" stopped there on a Friday and the barn wasn't serving, only the conex in the parking lot, Friday, 50 degrees, raining. They did say we could take drinks inside, upstairs, if we got our drinks in the rain. Absolutely nuts. It's busy in the summer, but this behavior is really contemptuous of their customers. Pass

Was a huge fan when we used to go there years ago before it became Great America. Figured in the offseason we could enjoy some wine on their impressive property. Long story short after getting steered to multiple places to order a wine we were told we could have a tasting in the actual round barn. Only to be then told to go back outside and get our wine there with no apologies for the confusion and time we wasted due to staff confusion. Typical all the attitude of a Napa winery without nearly the quality of wine to back it up. Had better wine at Dablon down the road. Won’t make this mistake again.

Incredibly confusing layout and rude customer service. There is an area that is strictly for sit down dining and another area for trailers to walk up and get drink and food. Apparently, the diners SHALL NOT MIX. I invited all my wedding guests to gather here the day after my May 2022 wedding and only confusion and chaos ensued. Some guest chose to be seated for a meal. If their friends tried to walk up and chat with them they were asked to leave the mulch area for diners only. The hostess were rude about the whole situation.

Limited flight options. Had to a different stand to receive food. The bathroom trailer was big clean but not well stocked. Sinks were not working.

Would leave a zero star review if I could. Website stated first come first serve. We’ve been here before and know how packed the round barn gets and arrived shortly before they opened. The website stated first come first serve. We were asked to pay extra for a private cabana to free up space in the tasting room. We were the only people on the premises and the staff stated it was unfair for us to occupy tables in the tasting room. The entire ordeal made absolutely no sense. We were told the manager wouldn’t be in until 2pm yet it was the managers decision. Hopefully the management straightens out the completely incompetent staff but based on what was evidenced today, there is no hope. It’s a shame to see a great place ran by complete idiocy. Best of luck round barn.

Want to Feel like a burden while you try and enjoy a glass of wine? Then this is the place for you! Great wine, beautiful property, but sadly the employees ruin it for everyone. Between unwelcoming attitudes, confusing seating & rules, and eye rolls, it makes you not feel welcome. This place has serious potential and management/ownership needs to get their staff together and fix the issues going on.EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: We had 2 separate parties (one party of 4 and one party of 6) who were more than willing to sit at separate tables. It’s very disappointing that you aren’t even acknowledging the poor attitudes and behaviors of your employees. That was the main focus of this review.

So sad...this used to be a fun trip to a very unique beautiful winery...we haven't been able to come for a couple years. Now it is so cold and unwelcoming..you cannot even pick the wine that you want to sample...the round barn tasting room was so much fun, now you get your wine from a trailer and sit on a metal table ....very disappointing ? at least there are many new options to choose from in the area...we will be trying them.

open space. NOT family friendly. 3 couples with 5 children were not allowed in the main area. anything kids did as going up to see the grapes grow or sit by inactive fireplace was wrong. when buying a round of beers employees talked about "oh look no tip" loud and open... did not wait for our last order to receive it. once we seen the service after being pushed and bumped around and bathroom onlyn 1 soap dispenser worked and 1 sink out of 3 did.... we will not come back.

Round Bar Vinery is an absolute gem in Michigan's wine scene. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. Their selection of wines is truly outstanding, offering something for every palate. The knowledgeable staff guided me through their wine list, and their passion for their craft was evident in every recommendation. I particularly enjoyed their red blends and found them to be incredibly well-crafted.The ambiance at Round Bar Vinery is perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening. The rustic decor and scenic views made for a delightful setting to savor their exceptional wines.Additionally, their commitment to sustainability and locally sourced ingredients is commendable. It's evident that they care about both their products and the environment. If you're in Michigan and looking for a top-notch winery experience, I can't recommend Round Bar Vinery enough. It's a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable outing in the beautiful Michigan wine country. I can't wait to return for another visit soon!

Was a decent place to have a wine tasting. Prices are a bit steep and no more tasting in the round barn which kind of put a damper on the experience. But overall a nice place an atmosphere with live music.

What an absolute delight. My fiancé and I came on a Thursday, mid afternoon. It wasn’t busy, which didn’t come as a surprise as most of their business would come from the weekends, however the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. After some light deliberation we selected a spirit flight and the sweet flight. The options provided within the flight were absolutely perfect. The outdoor seating, within the right weather, is an amazing experience. The best drink we had was definitely the Black Walnut Cream was the best tasting drink either of us have ever had, I would whole heartedly recommend to anyone, even if you’re not heavily into alcohol. We will definitely have to come back for a second visit!

After COVID, everything took a turn. Now you can't drink from your growlers. They only sell cups halfway full, with way too much ice, and the worst one when I gave the server a tip they didn't even say thank you. ? We won't return until it changes they way it used to be.
