Food was amazing , service was very poor. We waited for 15 minutes for my alcoholic drink as we sat watching it melt. We complained to the manager who in turn made excuses for the waiter saying he had 5 tables. Our meal arrived before our appetizer and the waiterasked if we were still waiting on anything. He then grabbed our appetizer which was cold. Our waiter also spilled hot soup on us and made 3 appearances to our table. The manager poorly handled the situation and in no way made the experience any better . Will not go back to this location!

Good food, terrible service We have dined at Kume Hibachi multiple times, and have ordered takeout many times before as well. The food is always good, some items I would even label as great (sweet potato rolls). Our food tonight was good also, unfortunately the service was so sub-par, I have to label it as terrible. Trust me, I do not use that term lightly. We arrived before 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, and had a slight wait for a table - not unexpected. The 45-50 minute wait to order our entrees after we were seated was unexpected. The waiter (John) returning to our our table more than 15 minutes later to give us the 'bad news' (his words) that "the kitchen lost our order" was a bit over the top. So to catch you up, we have now been at our table just over an hour, and our entree order is finally being taken. A challenge for any dining party, made more challenging with two toddlers in our party. I want to make it clear that this review is not entirely about timing. Our waiter never once (in the 2 hours we were there) asked if our food was ok, if we needed anything, etc. He did however bring water to our empty glasses, after we got his attention and asked for it. He did bring us enough silverware for our entire party, after we asked for it. He did bring us the Yum-Yum sauce, after we asked for it (he blamed that on the kitchen as well). Perhaps the mandatory 18% gratuity should be reserved for servers that don't wait to be asked for routine service. This is where I remind everyone that the food was good, it was simply the service that was terrible. Maybe takeout is the best option here?

Food was absolutely disgusting. Waited 40 minutes at a hibachi table after ordering only for another party to be sat down with us creating more of a wait. We asked to be moved to a table. After another 20 minutes wait our food came out. Had we not been starving it would have been inedible. When we notified the manager of the issue she had a terrible attitude and said she could not do anything for us since we ate some of the food off our plate. What an embarrassment of a restaurant and horrible management. Will never return.

The waitress was so bad, several tables complained about her at the same time. She was so rude that I had to complain to the manager. I have never had such bad service ever. Just one example. She brought out our sushi first. We didn’t have drinks. Plates. Our soup. Or chop sticks. We just sat there and stared at our sushi. When we finally got her attention. Her comment was, “what did I forget “. When we finally had enough she said, “I was busy. These people have waited over 40 minutes. “. We have been loyal customers until now.
