Ordered take-out from Los Aztecas for the first time and was very impressed with the care put in to making our take-out experience as close as possible to eating in the restaurant. Our tacos were carefully wrapped so food came home warm. Wet ingredients were packaged separately from dry. Cold ingredients packaged separately from warm. All allowing for the perfect just brought to the table experience of eating in the restaurant. I would absolutely order take-out again. Great experience.

Still pretty good food. It seems like something has changed. Our server was not overly friendly. Our salsa bowl wasn't even half full. I'm not a big fan of drinking beer out of plastic mugs. Bring back the glass mugs. Los Aztecas used to have the coldest beer in town...not so much anymore.

My family and I have dinned at this place since they opened. We love Alberto however the food tonight was not the same rice was overly dry missing the usual Lima beans and moisture. The refried beans appeared to have a red hue and was rather runny and gritty. Not sure what’s happening but the food was a disappointment the margaritas off set the let down and the hundred dollar bill.

The food is excellent but prices have gone sky high, especially for bottled beer. A Corona is $6.99. The 34oz draft Dos Equis is a decent deal at $10.99. I really enjoyed my Enchiladas Banderas and the other 3 folks I was with enjoyed their meals as well. They have coupons on their website for first time takeout orders.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Battle Creek. The food is always fresh and yummy. The drinks are tasty and presented in fun ways. And the atmosphere is lively and fun without being intensely loud or chaotic. The service is also great as all the waiters know the menu well and can make recommendations based on your likes, heat tolerance, etc. Prices are right in line for what you would expect at a nice, family-run Mexican restaurant. Alcohol is expensive but they make it worth the price by offering tons of flavors and presenting the drinks in fun ways.Dietary restrictions: They have lots of vegetarian options and seem willing to customize almost anything.Kid-friendliness: They have huge family tables. There were lots of kids there with their families and they looked like they were having fun.

We stopped in after a little shopping. There was no wait to be seated which was very nice. We did wait a few minutes for someone to come get our drink order though. We ordered our food and they brought our order out quickly but my husbands tacos had the wrong meat inside. I ordered the seafood nachos. The menu said they use fresh crab meat and it was obviously imitation so that was upsetting especially because it was $22 dollars for a plate of nachos.
