I get a hankering for Panera after seeing the commercial, then I go to this Panera and am reminded why I don’t go more. New Balsamic Chicken Salad had been refrigerated for some time based on the translucent and rubbery cucumbers & freezing cold salad components that made my teeth ache. A person preparing meals was either eating or chewing gum- health dept. no no. Had to wipe my table down, very few cleaned tables at 3 pm. Baguette was the only redeeming factor along with the honey for my tea. C’mon, Panera, I want to love you!Parking: Parking is cramped, watch for others driving thru.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and tables available

The food was gross, employees are ok, better than a lot of other places but nothing special at all. Atmosphere is cold, and nothing but constant loud traffic in the parking lot. Panera has hit the point where we need to let the company go under.

I came back to leave a review specifically to share how incredibly wonderful the staff was. I was on a roadtrip with my family from Canada and this was our break stop, and we received such kindness that it left both me and my family talking after our experience. We weren't about to catch the names of the staff, but to any Panera managers who are reviewing this, the staff on Sat. Jan. 6 around 1:30-2pm were phenomenal!
We decided to got to Panera bread today in Battle Creek Mi . The cashier who took our order was very rude she never put our order through. A lady who worked there who was cleaning tables checked on our order and had the manager prepare it. We finally got our order after waiting 45 minutes. I was really looking forward to going there, after this experience, I will go to Denny's.
