Servers were completely overwhelmed. The food was just… not good. The also lost their ability to serve alcohol. Seemed to be on a downward trend. Hope they can get it back together.

Management is horrible, no communication. Supervisors don’t know how to talk to employees , very unprofessional.

Great spot tucked away in the Airport of BC. Food was terrific, well priced for the size. (My wife and I both left with take out containers lol)Our server, Sierra was second to none! Very attentive and kind. Never asked for anything, she was simply on it!

The food was done to perfection. The service was excellent! My new goto restaurant when visiting my friend in Battle Creek!

If I could give a zero star I most definitely would!! The service was the worst I've ever gotten in my life!! It was past horrible!! Then the food was almost just as bad. I got the plant based chorizo tacos and I ate 1 out of 3 because I was starving after waiting an hour. The rest went in the trash. And the prices are high, you better bring quality with it, which was not the case. This was the first time I'd been here and trust me it'll be the last. I came with 3 friends which 2 got their meal refunded after we left because they used their cards, but myself and my Aunt paid cash so obviously we get the short end of the stick. I'll NEVER go back to this place even for a free meal. Most horrible experience I've ever had at a restaurant ever!! Good luck with future customers coming back if they experience what we did today. We got there right before noon. Definitely not worth even trying again ?

Food has gone downhill during the management transition and no liquor license. Hopefully they get their act together and resume their gourmet status and ability to enjoy a cocktail with friends and watch the planes. Chicken Picata dish was very salty and a strange recipe that forgot the lemon and was loaded with garlic. What happened to the nutritious & delicious bowls?; they weren’t on the menu nir the cute menu of Waco planes. ?Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Available in parking lot and elevator to restaurant level as well as seating

This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful atmosphere. Sunset views, I had the kimchi rice. Very delicious and the right amount of spice.

Delicious food . We had the Bavarian Appetizer, Swordfish and Pork Chop. The Unique location provided a beautiful atmosphere. Thank You to Riley for the great service. The only downside was no alcohol available until their new license comes thru.

Fantastic restaurant. Cost was reasonable. Server was super attentive. Somewhat limited selections on the menue but each selection that my group tried was superb. Seating overlooks the GA ramp amd the main runway so it was interesting to watch the planes come and go. And suoer convenient that we could park our aircraft right in front of the Waco Kitchen.

I don't know what happened to this place but they no longer have a liquor license and there was no mention of that on their website or on their social media where they show photos of their cocktails. When I asked what happened the person claimed they “got a new CEO and the license is being transferred to him”. Regardless the quality of the food and service has gone downhill and the place, which used to need a reservation on the weekend, was completely dead. Then they had an issue with my payment after I left the restaurant and called me to try and pay again—my bank showed the payment so this was an issue on their side, not mine. Overall a terrible experience and a restaurant that was once a favorite is a place I'll never return to. I'll be surprised if they're still in business in six months.

We went with the family for my mother in laws 80th birthday. It was not unlike an episode of hells kitchen. We waited an hour for our food. My wife and brother in law had the dish named after the kitchen, Waco Tacos , they were served cold after the long wait. I had a beet salad and Borcollini. The salad was fantastic and the dressing impeccable. The Brocollini was cold as was the plate. My other brother in law and me had ordered coffee. After a half an hour I had to go get it from the bar. It was very good coffee I would have liked another cup but it was never offered. So, extremely poor service, extremely slow kitchen, cold food. This is stuff that should have been worked out during a soft opening. I would not recommend this to anyone. They don't appear to know how to run a reaturant of this caliber. They definitely have the tools and ingredients. They just don't know what to do with them. Given the price they charge I would call this a massive fail.

Waco Kitchen is a hidden gem in Battle Creek that you need to check out if you’re just passing through. The planes fly by in a quiet airport styled restaurant with a savory and fresh menu. I came here with my goblin friend and we had such a nice time.I ordered the Chicken Picatta and it slapped. They have a catered and welcoming menu. Try anything, I bet it would please you. Would come back!

This was my second visit to WACO Kitchen, and it won't be my last. I'd recommend a reservation, especially for balcony seating. The entry area is covered and there is plenty of handicap parking. There is an elevator to the second floor. Our party included a small wheelchair and there was plenty of room to maneuver between tables. The service was excellent. Six of us had five different meals and everyone loved the fresh food and variety of offerings. My only complaints were that they didn't have enough of the delicious pre-meal rolls for our entire table, and one of their few desserts, chocolate cake, was also "not ready". We were dining mid-afternoon, so these were unexpected shortages. The balcony seating allows you a view of the small planes taking off and landing. My first visit was a sunny summer day, and the balcony was completely opened along the runway side mid-meal. It was a pleasant surprise to dine with the planes flying and the fresh air. There is a bar available. I highly recommend WACO Kitchen.

Enjoyed a Saturday lunch here. Not much to see as the runway was quiet but the food was excellent. Took away a star for not making sure our glasses were full but other than that the service was good. Hopefully we will be able to try the cocktails next visit as none were offered this time.
