There was Saran Wrap melted in my food. Sheets of Saran Wrap all bunched up. This is unacceptable. I took my plate to the server, showed her, she apologized and said it’s the plastic wrap they cover the food trays in. Again, unacceptable. My meal was compensated. The pork loin was gray and tough. Under the heat lamp it looks ok, well, get to your table and it’s gray. Inedible. The quality is lacking.

Tried to order their special on Facebook that stated a 21 piece order for 8.99. Called and placed an order for pickup. The lady who answered stated that they sold out. I asked what other family dinners were available. She stated you can get a 21 piece with 2 sided for 28 dollars. They clearly were not sold out. If they can offer the same thing with 2 sides for 300 percent of the cost. For some reason I still said yes because I did not feel like cooking. Well that was a mistake as well because the sides were cold and the chicken was luke warm at best.We used to love this place but I definitely won't be back for a while due to the bait and switch as well as the quality of food. Also the special is still listed on the site. They might want to take it down or say it's no longer available.

Went for a buffet on Sunday early afternoon. Everything was well stocked and fresh. I grew up in a home with Polish roots, so some of the food I grew up on was on the buffet. While I didn't love everything on the buffet, they were good representations of the foods I grew up on, albeit different. The only thing I will say is that they had a meat in gravy and it was tough as nails, the pierogi were good (different than I make, but good) the globaki I feel needed the hard rib of the cabbage trimmed off or cooked longer to soften more but had good flavor. The atmosphere and staff were great, and I will be back. Maybe next time Ill order off the menu or give the buffet a go. Price is more than fair and the beer brewed for them is great.

This is not authentic Polish food. Everything is fried and oily. The saukerkraut has no flavor to it (adding brown sugar and slivers of onion help w this). At authentic Polish restaurants downstate, they offer a choice of boiled or pan fried pierogies and boiled or pan fried sausage. No options here, just oily and fried. There is no healthy or healthier option mindset, look around, this place is filled with very obese people. A "healthy" salad can be drenched with heavy, cheap dressings. The goloabki could be 10 times better if they would make an effort.Atmosphere. The Polish artwork and music is nice. Besides that, the restaurant itself is so dysfunctional. The buffet area is like an elementary school cafeteria, even smaller. People's arms bump into one another, the buffet trays overflow with the food next. Mashed potatoes mixed with sauerkraut and carrots. As for the desserts, I am surprised the health department has not stepped in. There is a table with desserts, all uncovered in cheap tin foil containers and styrofoam plates and bowls. These desserts may sit out for hours. This is not normal or sanitary. It's normal if you have no standards. A renovation and expansion is long overdue. If Polish pride in Bay City looks like this, be ready to eat greasy meals, drench a salad with disgusting dressings, eat soup that is so salty and desserts that are out in the open for hours.Lastly, on holidays, they allow way too many people for inside dining. People wait arm to arm in the entrance with no waiting area to sit. If you made a reservation, wait for the server to yell your name like you're in trouble. No class and etiquette. And please, do not have open trash bins placed throughout. This is so disgusting and unsanitary. Good luck enjoying a meal with servers throwing food away and cleaning off plates into an open trash container a few feet away. I'm sure this place makes a lot of money and can afford to upgrade and expand. There is potential.
