I LOVE this place! I come here once a month to get the biggest bucket of delicious peanut butter for my family, a 2 hour drive.The store is so quaint and just holds a nostalgic feeling, although I only started coming as an adult. The bridge mix is amazing! I always leave with a little sack of that, too.My kids love it, too. They can pick out single pieces of candy from little bins or choose a package of more modern candies. If it's near a candy holiday, I like to grab a few special pieces for them.The part of Bay City it is in is really neat! Little shops and cafes, antique stores, and bars, all along the river with a paved riverwalk trail to enjoy.I definitely recommend visiting if you are driving on I-75. It's worth it!

I like the old time vibes and the location.Parking: There are usually parking spots up by the building, but there’s also plenty of street parking and the street isn’t too scary to get out ontoKid-friendliness: I love the penny candy. It’s perfect for children to pick out what they want.

My Daddy used to take my sisters and I here as a treat when we were children. It is 40 years later, and I still enjoy going. The store has remained the same. It is like going back in time. There is old fashioned candy I haven't seen sold in years. The chocolates are still made on site and are still to die for and all the nuts are literally fresh. If you're in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed.Parking: It is a small parking lot. It gets packed on weekends and holiday seasons. You can park on the street as well.Kid-friendliness: This is literally a candy store. Complete with the red and white stripe awning! LOL. What Child doesn't like a candy store? The store is very compact so there isn't much space. The kids would need to watch where they were going (Adults too!)!
