Old owners had no clue what they were doing. New owners don't either. You can't get service to save your life. Even if you do, you could dine and dash every time and they would never notice. The food is lacking in size and taste. And half the taps are never working. They got a prime location and have done everything in their power to just waste it.

Enjoyed an early Valentines day with my husband this past weekend! Food, service, drinks, value, and atmosphere were top notch. Erik took care of us and was so attentive, kind, and the food was incredible as always. We shared the apple pear cobbler for dessert thanks to the incredible recommendation from our server and you could literally taste the nostalgia! It was Incredible! My husband enjoyed a flight of beer, while I tried one of the new Valentines day cocktails. Definitely recommend for any special occasion, or for just a random week day out.
Came in last week with some friends and we had Erik B. who recommended the chicken sandwich which was AMAZING. Our server was on top of everything and the food came out really quick too. Overall, great experience and awesome staff.

Terrible panini, grilled sandwich taste more like a kettle chip. Server never asked how the food was, but asked if I wanted a to go box after seeing only a bite was taken. Underwhelming experience compared to how this restaurant used to be and will be my last experience.

Had to change my review from 5 stars to zero because the owner of this establishment & Old City Hall treat their employees very poorly. They are firing employees left & right during the holidays and rehiring/training new hires. This is not how you treat employees, not at all. I live out of town and only went to Tavern to see certain individuals working there. I will no longer be dining at Tavern/Old City Hall or recommending them.**Don’t be fooled by the wave of new “reviews” to hide reviews similar to mine.

If you want to support local small business, this is not the place to go. Most businesses show appreciation for their staff around the holidays, this company fired a dozen people instead. Employees that had been with them for years and customers loved. No regard for their community or staff, only care about their own personal paycheck. 10/10 do not recommend.
