Very unhelpful staff. Would not take my cake order. Told me not taking any orders till 2 days after I needed a cake. When I went online to order they cancelled my order a day before I needed the cake. The worst place to go. Never going there again.

I called 11.1.20 to order a birthday cake for my grandson. Barbara, who answered the phone seemed very bothered....very long sigh. She asked, what are you trying to order. I explained a mini 2 tier sponge bob cake...another long sigh, then informed me, I would have to come in to place the order and put a deposit down for that kind of cake..I replied, since when? After another long sigh, she replied "I have to get my manager" she didn't place me on hold. Apparently she laid the phone down, so for 5 minutes I could hear, people talking in the background, what sounded like metal clanging together..other odd sounds. After 5 minutes of this I hung up. Called Meijer, ordered the cake via phone, without any issues.

This Walmart Supercenter is convenient for me to get to. I can rush quickly along I-94 at 70 miles per hour to get there from the south or take a leisurely route along Ecorse to get there. I usually take the leisurely route. They have a full selection of produce. It is usually at reasonably prices. I have rarely seen them short on anything and for the most part their produce is ripe and ready to eat. Their staff is interested and engaged. I enjoy the greeters here because they always greet me. That may sound funny but, I don't know what it is, when I go to Walmart, I may or may not get greeted -usually not - but at this Walmart Supercenter - always! Their clothing selection is very good. Great prices and a wide selection. I haven't had to wait long at the cashier either. The cashiers are pleasant and well trained. The new ones have an experienced person stationed near them to help at any time. The parking lot is kept in good condition. The only caution I offer is when entering the parking lot and leaving it. The transition from parking lot to driving lane is not clear at the periphery of the lot and there are several other businesses between the lot and the main road.

This place is a time suck, you enter here and it takes 30 minutes to just check out, and pay. Never enough people staffing register, lines are avg 4-5 people long (who have full carts). Walmart is notorious for counting people in the store and optimizing their cashier's to 10-15min wait times. This store easily pushes it to double at non peak hours.

If I could give negative stars on this review, I most definitely would. Every experience my wife and I have had at this store in dealing with any employee has been terrible. They don't care about you or their work. They leave you feeling depressed every time you walk out the door. This las time, I had tires put on my car and the Big Rapids store put them on backwards. Walmart corporate escalated to the market manager and I was told I could go in when they open and they'd take care of me right away. Got to the store at open, they had no idea who I was, what I was talking about. My family will NEVER be returning to this store. I'd rather pay double the money for decent customer service from people who actually give a sh*t.

1 star is too many. This past Wednesday my husband and I purchased 2 $25 visa gift cards that were not in our bags when we went to leave the store. We asked them to cancel the cards, they said they couldn't. After checking the cameras multiple times or so they say they still said they couldn't do anything for us. We are pretty sure our cashier took them as she lied about someone coming by and saying they left a bag. And the manager or whoever she is, Melissa, was unnecessarily rude to me. Needless to say I will never shop here again. Ive never had a good experience at this walmart, any walmart to be honest.

To think I gave this Walmart a 5 star rating once. I had to have been nutz. At 12am you shut down all your registers and this gal by the scan n go claims she is the only cashier. But she is too busy drinking her powerade drink instead of being a cashier. Scan n go the old 10 items or less lines. Don't come in here and buy a lot of stuff after midnight. There is no customer service whatsoever. Why are you open for business Walmart????? Close up shop and go back to Arkansas. Sorry, I understand a business has to run on profit. But when your customers pay the price to make you richer and richer, but you don't do anything to help your customers..... Now that is wrong. We came in here at 11:30pm on a Friday evening. We were not trying to make it a 3 hour shopping experience. However sure felt like that. What will you do if all your customers boycott you Walmart for lack of customer service? Will you close your doors like KMarts are doing? Our tonight's experience will be passed on to Corporate.... Hoping you change your attitude as how you practice business Walmart.... And NO!! I am not recommending anyone to you till this issue is resolved.

I never Walmart and coming to this one reminded me why. It took me about an hour to finally get what I wanted. I went on their website and found a mattress that I was able to pick up today in store. So my boyfriend and I went in and looked for it. We couldn't find it so we went to Customer Service where a manager told us she was unable to search up the item for us and that she'll call someone over to Furniture for us. We reached furniture and no one was there. We waited for 10 minutes so I walked over to find a worker. She told me to go to Customer Service and they can help me search the item or call another location to check. We went up and another worker helped us. He said he has to call over another manager since the manager (who told us she can't search up the information) is about to head out. The other manager came and helped us search up the item however it was stated that they do not have the product AT ALL in store however, there are since we saw twin size mattresses. She then walked over with us to check. Another manager followed. The manager who tried to check online couldn't find it and didn't know what to do. The manager who followed told us she'll look in the back just in case they might have some. She told another worker in electronics that she's heading to the back to look for full sized mattresses. He told her "there are only Mainstay". That was exactly what I needed. She brought out the mattress for us and even helped us bring it to our car. I wished we bumped into her first. It took around an hour and 6 employees to help us find what we needed. Honestly, could've been in and out in 15 minutes top if they check the back. So disappointed.

It is Easter. I am visiting from out of state, walked into Walmart to purchase some food items and alcohol. I was with my 74 year old great uncle and cousin whom is 28. I am 32. My uncle purchased his items separately from my own. He was allowed to buy his ciroc, however, when it came to my items; I had coffee creamer and Jack Daniels. I was denied my purchase of alcohol because my COUSIN did not have his ID on him. The clerk insisted that it was because he "could be drinking with you later" and it's "store policy" to deny a sell if all parties cannot present an ID. Well, let me just say that's a blantant LIE and her store manager echoed the same with a nasty attitude. Stating "If you have a problem with it, visit Michigan.gov." I looked up Walmart and Michigan alcohol policies. Walmart specifically mentions 40 and under to ask for ID but that it is not to impede the sell. Walmart Corp. these are your employees greatly lacking customer service let alone managerial experience to respond effectively. I am not pleased to have been uncomfortably singled out and then have my uncle treated in a disrespectful manner as if our patronage was an inconvenience to them. They have jobs and get paid to give proper customer service and actually do their job, not to assume and be surly to the people that are EMPLOYED TO SERVE. I called the store 4/16 at 3:04 pm and was told the store manager was a male. Again, we were lied to. As my uncle address the cashier for an understanding during the incident, he specifically asked for her manager, she pointed to another but much younger Caucasian girl with a short bob, dyed reddish hair. This is absolutely unsatisfactory. DO BETTER. ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE.

This has to be the worse store we have in Michigan. The service department either does not know the laws or to d*** to follow them. The lines also can be so long and the front end manager just stands there and does nothing. Why they pay her I have no idea. Not for her looks for sure. I also have found MANY items OUTDATED throughout the store. They also do not follow the Michigan Bounty Law. They will lie right to your face to get out of paying it. The RX department is another place for RUDE help. Behind the counter they need more friendly people and someone who cares about the customer. I find a very few cashiers are friendly and helpful; most are not worth paying. Just like to stand or go hide. The greeters are about the only ones I can say are worth anything and are friendly. Sure wish they would close or get rid of the help and replace with people who know how to use their heads and care about the people shopping there.

Tried to just run in for some tomatoes, flies all over the produce!! Went into the subway for a pop and there were so many flies I almost got sick watching them land on the food! Seen one of the store mangers leaving the store tried to stop him and tell him what I just seen, as soon as I said "are you the manger" he replied "yeah but I am laeving so I am off the clock"! Older black man, drives a redish orange car, edge maybe escape? next time I go in I will be bringing my phone and recording what I see, maybe once I hit every major social media sites I can with the video, Walmarts mangers will find the time to fix the disgust!
