It's a small town Chinese place, but I've been going here for over 20 years. They only do take out now, but they use to have dine in and lunch buffets. I like how they can customize the menu for vegetarian options and how the servings are large, and your entrees come with rice. Call ahead to place your order and they do a good job to package your order on time. Great service.

Ordered a few things to share ate home. Fried rice and lo mein were good. I didn't try the chow mein. I did try the orange chicken though. Sort of odd, it's got iceberg lettuce in the sauce. Chicken was ok and sauce was a little tart but the lettuce in a warm sauce was actually gross. Cabbage would have been good. Who bought lettuce?

Just got 4 meals. Got home to find nothing was marked. Chicken was tough, veggies were only half cooked. Fried rice was okay. Disappointed.

Their fried rice is okay at best. Everything else was awful. I don't know how you mess up orange chicken but these folks found a way to. Soggy, bland, and absolutely no breading on such a staple dish. Oh and I get diarrhea whenever I have the misfortune of eating here.

I'm not really sure why the ratings swing so much. Most people give either 1 star or 5. I am genuinely surprised that anyone could give this place more than 3 stars. The vegetables are NOT stir-fried but boiled and then placed in a "sauce" that is gelatinous. I think it was salt, water, and corn starch but can't be sure. Utterly disgusting. The sweet and sour Tofu was swimming in a red sauce that was nothing like any sweet n sour I've had before and not in a good way. The tofu itself was not cooked nicely so it was kinda rubbery. It also taked of old vegetable oil. The chicken fried rice has no egg and the chicken was cut up so small that first we thought that they had left out the chicken and it was the egg we were seeing. It was just opposite I'm fact. The sauce they cooked the rice in was mostly just dark soy sauce so the fried rice was almost black in color and very salty. Again, nothing like any other fried rice I'd ever seen. The service was rude on both phone and in person.I'm giving it 2 stars because it was cheap and most it was eaten. We didn't get sick from it (as one reviewer said they did). I'm probably being generous with the 2 stars...It's cheap but it's still a waste of money.P.S. take out only. Dine in not offered.

Searching for Chinese food and as always I search on Google maps and check the reviews and we chose not to come here because their Google reviews are WAY lower than everyone within 10 miles radius.

Best place ever, delicious food!

Very tasty Mongolian beef, beef fried rice, and curry chicken. We buy these all the time!

It's a hidden jewel. Some say it's salty, but we find it just right. The owner is amazing and recognizes you and has been in the community for a long time. They only do take out now.

I don't like to do bad ratings & since I haven't been here in quite a while not sure if I should . I will say the reason I stopped going here is bcuz they do not reinvest In business... same carpet, same booths, just nothing to spruce it up! Food mediocre at the time. Aesthetics are important to me.

If you are an AU student wishing that Hot Wok was a little closer to home, let me tell you Beijin Palace won't fill that void. I got a couple different things as take out for me and my roommate, one vegetarian and one chicken, and neither of us were able to stomach our meals. I found the texture to be... gelatinous? And the food was pretty bland. Maybe there are tastier things on the menu, but we struck out hard enough to not want to return. I really have to wonder how this place has stayed open so long.

Will this food wow you with flavor? No. Will the customer service wow you with politeness and restore your faith in humanity? No, but they won't make it worse either, and if you buy the large for meals, you're getting plenty of bang for your buck. If you're expecting something great, you wouldn't be paying cheap. Will always recommend this place when people ask me about it. :)

Pretty standard Chinese food. Tasted good. It would have been nice to have the option of fried rice instead of steamed.
